    Thanks Bob :)
Perhaps sounds better than it is the way I wrote it though :(
Money wouldn't all come in at once, we 'd be invoicing over a few months, Its more the security of knowing that next six months SE income would be regular, with some to spare each month to put away for tax etc.
At the moment we have enough to in bank to cover until end of June, with more invoices to send in the next couple of weeks. This is after paying for ride on mower and big car bill! :T

3 loads of washing line dried today, and DS mowed lawn twice this evening so starting to look good :) DH did a bit of strimming around edges and hopefully will do a bit tomorrow. I pulled out lots of nettles that were about 2ft high, they were easy to pull as ground still quite soft. Stocked up of Vit D :)

Won't get much done tomorrow as picking up DD :)
Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone :)

Dinner tonight courtesy of DD who brought home frozen meals from batch cooking :money:
Just need to iron uniform for DS and a shirt for DH for the morning - they have both crashed out already!
    Quote sent off.........everything crossed.

    Have a good week everyone:)

Thanks for the good wishes, Chev, Brizzle, Bob - am hoping that the universe will conspire to make this one happen :) - we've done the best we can, it would be a good break to the living month to month cycle.

half day at home today to catch up on domestic stuff. Just had a text from a friend who wants to visit this weekend - normally stays overnight, but not sure whether I'm up to entertaining :o Would feel bad saying no though. :( and it would laso mean I wouldn't have time to visit parents. Hmmm not sure what to to.

    Feelin unsociable:(

Have done school /DD job drop off run 30mile round trip this am. Have a late start for work @ 11am so nipped back home to do some chores before going back to school (12 miles)....not very green or fuel efficient but need the time at home. So I'm only here while I have my cuppa;)

Just booked a crash course of driving lessons for DD in July - have to get her mobile - she has been dragging her feet over it much to my annoyance. They have found a cancellation test for July.....so another £700 to fork out  but it will be worth it. Accounts are being depleted fast  I've agreed to pay for the lessons as dd will then need to have insurance by which time she'll have earned some more money.

No other news, have found out only one other company is quoting for the project we sent the quote in for, and they haven't submitted yet. Went to an informal meeting with client to introduce ourselves. Hope the fact that we put in first sdoesn't mean that they undercut us .....

Have a good day everyone :)

Just a flying visit to say hello and hope everyone had a nice weekend.
It flew by. Said yes to friend, but then had to rush around all day, getting all normal chores done, big grocery shop, out with DH as he has to choose the company car he will have for next 3 years, I had to try them for ease of driving/seat position etc, then did a very quick spicy checken bake which turned out really tasty :) for supper, and ended up having a really nice catch up with said friend. She left early so I could go down to spend day with my parents. It was nice enough to take mum for a walk in the park - and we had an ice-cream - she' s finding it harder and harder to cope with dad :(
Lovely DH ironed 10 shirts for him and DS week, and grass is lovely and short :)

PAid the deposit for the Rugby Tour:eek:

Off to bed early - have a full week at school.
    Have a good week:)

Sorry to hear about your dad NOA. I think it was you that was looking to have them come stay with you? I don't want to bring you down, but I am wondering whether this would be the best for all of you, especially now your health is more frail than you thought it was. Would they consider moving into sheltered accommodation?
Sorry if I offend, but I thought it needed to be said.
