Well back from Leeds - exhausted! Spent £70 over the 3 days on not very much (didn't buy a coffee en route though!!) Had 2 good nights out with other people from the course - put the world to rights and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Back to work today but not before updating YNAB and doing the second balance transfer!

Tonight will do a plan for next month before payday on Monday - although I still have no idea how much or when i might get CSA - I wll just have to not include it untl I know a bit more!

Hope everyone is having a good week - I am so glad its Friday!

Back on track today! - got £30 cash back into my account today for the energy switch - still no refund - but not exepcting it until the 1st December. Skipped a girly night out tonight - money was one issue, spent enough on socialising this week! but also just wanted to chill at home with the kids - so made some lovely mushroom pasta from bits in the fridge and store cupboard and had some wine in so drinking a glass of that! House work, menu planning and maybe some uni work tomorrow followed by a catch up with a friend tomorrow - I will cook (no idea what yet!) and we have a little drink and put the world to rights!

Got a call from CSA - said ex is disputing the contact (supposed to have them 2 weekends a month but hasn't for a while and now DD3 doesn't want to go and he wont have DS at the min cos of meds!) Just an attempt to pay less and drag it all out!!! So frustrating!

Pay day today :jbest day of the month!!! but had a really long and stressful day so not started debt payments and bugetting. Had so much hassle from ex that I really don't know that the CSA application will be worth it! He is now threatening to go back over the original divorce settlement and try to go for half my pension ( we both agreed at the time that pensions would remain our own) he is now claiming that as I have gone back on the original agreement and gone to CSA he can go back on it too and try to get half of my pension! The fact that he stopped paying according the agreement seems to have slipped his mind - he also posted some really offensive stuff on social media at the weekend about me in relation to me trying to get money from him and other things which are a load of lies (making up my son has ADHD etc!!) Its exhausting!
  • Oh, not good behaviour. Sounds a total idiot (sorry, not helpful, but feel put out on your behalf!)
Stick with it. Tell him not to worry about the contact dates dispute, he can just document the dates he has had the children over the last year ( :) )
Did you have a "Financial Severance" at time of divorce? It may not actually be called that, but something similar. It means that once that form is signed, no-one can go back at a later date and try and claim for something.
May be worth checking. We have been divorced 8 years, and it was only 2 years ago year ExOHs solicitor wrote to say it had never been completed!!
Don't read his social media .He's doing it for a reaction, which he can then use against you. Can you "block" him? sorry, I'm clueless about social media apart from knowing it can cause a lot of heartache at times.
Glad its payday for you, mine is end of week.I love plotting how my budget will go at the start of each month! Only two more presents to get for Christmas. Have told work colleagues I am not sending cards to them!
    Keep your chin up x

Thanks Asparagus - I have spoken to him and the CSA and explained that kids are not with him overnight at all at the moment and if and when that changes I will be happy to let them know and they can reassess the CSA amount. I am sure when we divorced we had it agreed that the financial settlement (which included me buying him out of the house) meant that it was agreed formally that he we were leaving each other pensions alone. I am going to get the legal bit checked I think - but even if he did try it would be only for the years we were married and would take into acount both pensions so would be unlikely to be worth much - his issue was that there was an amount agreed to be paid towards the kids and I am asking for more than that - but my response is he stopped paying so he broke the agreement so I went to the CSA as he refused to restart paying.
Got a call from the CSA and the weekly assessment comes out at £78 - I won't hold my breath for payments to start though!
I don't have him on any social media as a contact but some of my friends do which is how I got to know about the posts at the weekend - they have gone now!

Not done much Chrstmas shopping yet - got my eldests birthday on Friday so need to get that out of the way first but off to do my budgets now! and sort out CC payments!

Been playing wth my budgets and tidying up CC balances following all the balance transfers so the scores on the doors currently are:

Nationwide CC £4995 at 12.9% APR
Barclaycard CC £5300 1k at 6.9% LOB and the rest at 0% until May 2015
Tesco loan will be £4683.88 after payment goes on the 1st Dec

So total (not including OD's) will be £14973.88 (under 15k:D)

Smile OD will probably remain at £500 but hoping not to dip into Nationwide OD at all this month so total debt will be £15478.88

So will have paid off a grand total of £3535.12 since September - Happy with that!
