Sounds like my neighbours, although they too are all working class just think and act like they are above us.

Interesting. I wonder if you will be slated for saying that? ;)

I've got a picture in my head of mum wearing white stilettos, thin leggings, a pink hoodie, huge hoop earrings, hair in a tight ponytail... Standing on her doorstep shouting after the kids playing in the street "oi, get in 'ere nah - yer pizza's ready'.

She'll wander down to the village shop in pyjamas with her tattoos, muffin top and belly piercing proudly on show just to get some ciggies and a few tinnies... and get her mates over to sit out the front for a chat which'll turn into a cat fight once they've had a bit too much liquid refreshment.

Soon, it'll have an old sofa out front and a few old bikes.

Whoops, there goes the neighbourhood :D.

Anyway !!!! em, its not essential to have relationships etc with neigjbours.

What I don't get is why they think your kids shouldn't be allowed in the garden, but they are allowed to be noisy and have parties in theirs?!
