One of the problems for airlines in continuing to oppose the implementation of 261/04 is that each legal challenge generates media headlines. Using the programme "Orangedox" I can see how many people download the guide each day, for example. Before the Supreme Court's decision, it was an average about 6 or 7. In the fortnight following the decision, it was about 30.
It's not the numbers themselves that matter so much, but rather the difference between them: more people are becoming aware of the Regulation, and that's a real problem for the airlines.
Again, I offer my sincere thanks to the Board of Jet2.com without whom none of this would be possible. I wonder if we should ask them to be the official forum sponsors?

I wonder how long it'll be before you go the way of Centipede100 and Blondmark (gagged or bribed)? I just hope the airlines don't 'get to you'!
