Please can one of the wise ladies on here remind me how long I have to keep all my paperwork for?
I have never kept any.. paperless billing and statements for most things help and I keep the current council tax letters for 6 months.. for the PDSA and the water bill until it is paid in October. I am yet to need a piece of paper I don't have.Sorry I meant which one - I do mine with a lamp, I got the Sensationail starter kit a few months back on offer, and have been slowly adding to my colour range, I do love it. I tend to buy non branded bits now like the cleanser and remover, and have even dabbled in mixing colours
Bl00dy computer isn't playing ball...
Non-branded stuff though the lamp is a rio one... it might not be perfect but its better than nothing.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

That's good news LW
Well I did a spot more paid stuff, I'm all set for my thingy tomorrow aft, albeit feeling a little apprehensive. Boss man has reviewed the slides I've prepared and says he read them with a feeling of impressedness. Gawd knows why he can't just say what he means. But I think its a positive.
Since then I have vacced all downstairs, picked up a million toys and put them away, collected dressing up clothes and laundry to go back upstairs and started a mini flingathon. I've filled a bin bag and the recycling bucket with broken bits of toys, full colouring books and the like.
And now I'm having a toasted tea cake. I CBA cooking for me, plus I had a substantial lunch today.
Just think I'll give the tv / cabinet a wipe down - I did the front bit with the vac tools but it only does so much.Bossymoo

Evening all!
Welcome back ajmoney and poohbear
LW - glad to hear Mr LW is doing so welland that you and he survived Ted's bath :T
I had a successful SW this eveningFinally rejoined last week so was first weigh-in.
Less successful on the flying front but little bits and pieces have been done. Also been to Mr A to get stuff to ensure I don't go off SW plan this week.
Booked my visit to the National Archives for next week - I fear it may be emotional!

I didn't go out and buy myself something, simply because I bought myself 12 geranium plants on Saturday from Westonbirt arboretum. So I had a double HHG this evening and have planted them all out. I have some tiny geraniums out I the back garden which need potting on soon. I will have a little look tomorrow and see what I have available. They might need to go in the pots vacated by these bigger ones.
the house is looking markedly better and I am just waiting for DH to get off the ipad or laptop so I can renew my registration as that part of the NMC website won't open from DS's tablet. Can't complain as DH is doing something for me. He's following the instructions to make all downloaded apps go onto the sd card on my phone as it won't download anything!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Good news LW, I have been away so missed it all but it sounds like you survived it OK. No wonder you feel shattered.
BIG Announcement:
The holiday washing is done, most of it has been put away and I can see the bottom of the laundry basket! Yahooo!!. I have emptied the last couple of holiday bags and restored my bedroom to something like its normal semi-tidy state.
Feels like autumn here. The sandals and flip flops have been packed away and the jumpers are out. Hope this is a temporary thing.
Oh and DS1 bless him has just hoovered his bedroom, the landing and stairs. Think the idea of no help = no pocket money might be having an effect.0 -
yorkshirelass - well done on the washing - I love the view of the bottom of the washing basket - no that it gets seen often here!
just back from taking DD to try out sea cadets - she loved it, although I can't see the attraction of marching about and tying knots! We have to make a decision about whether to let her go rather than staying at Girls Brigade - the big issue being that it is 2 nights a week rather than one, and I'm not sure about her staying up late twice!
I'm even more cross re the passport now that DH has pointed out that they have spelt address correctly 3 times on 2 envelopes!
Hardly any flying outside of daily stuff getting done here - and with our trip tomorrow nothing will get done then either!
Off to clear kitchen, tell DH that the drain is blocked (which may be linked to the dryer issue I suppose) and go to bed!
Sleep well everyoneMay spend - £291.40/£320.00

Productive afternoon and evening.
Made a yummy fish pie. Cooked too many potatoes so made 6 portions of soup for lunches. Cleaned the kitchen again and bathed ds 2. Then did the training plan for my athlete.
After that I took ds2 for a run in his running buggy, came home finished dinner and then put him to bed. Had a quick tidy up, mopped the hall floor and then Did 2 hours of ironing. Had just about finished when OH came home.
House is looking quite presentable now apart from our bedroom which is a pit!Grocery challenge-
