Hey guys...long time no post. I have been very busy with work and have hardly had any time to post anywhere on this site. I have to start working away in 3 weeks time so I am trying to get the house organised as best as possible so Mr AJM will have a tidy house, this also reads as "he won't go into many places while I am away so things will stay tidy and I will know where everything is" :rotfl:

I will be following my own lists as I have a bit of a plan which gets all the cupboards, drawers and filing etc sorted by the end of next week so I have the last week to play catch up or enjoy my house before I go away.

Here is my list for this week:

    Monday - Main bedroom

    [STRIKE]Declutter all drawers[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Declutter wardrobe[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Tidy shoes[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wipe inside the wardrobe[/STRIKE]

    Tuesday - All bathrooms

[STRIKE]Sort through medicine cabinet and bin anything out of date[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Sort through toiletries ready to use up odds and ends[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Tidy towels and bedding in airing cupboard[/STRIKE] Will need to make sure I put all the washed bedding back neatly!
Wash all bath mats One set left to wash

    Wednesday - Filing

Sort through and shred anything not needed
Make sure everything is clearly labelled
Make a list of everyone to call to ensure Mr AJM can speak to any customer services while I am away
Archive any older paperwork (I need to check now long to keep all documents for)

    Thursday - 2nd bedroom

Tidy inside wardrobe, ditch clutter, rehome if necessary and organise better
    Change bedding

    Friday - kitchen

Make a food inventory of anything that needs using up
    Menu plan from inventory
Wipe inside all kitchen cupboards, drawers and fridge
    Tidy and organise larder cupboard

I already have a list sorted for next week and will post that then. I have crossed off what has been completed. I will finish the bath mats when I do the next load of washing. I am going to see what I can get ahead with :D

For anyone that remembers me and also remembers the fact that we hadn't done very well with emptying all the boxes after we moved 3 years ago...we have done it. There are some still full but until we have decided what we are doing with our CDs etc they are living in the garage out of the way. This means we have all 4 bedrooms as fully functioning rooms and it is lovely to feel a lot less cluttered :D I finally managed to get DH on board and we made many trips to charity shops and the tip and we are finally there :j

I hope everyone is doing ok xx

I'm in. Late as usual! Before I can even consider tackling the lists, I have to finish sorting out the mountains of washing on the DR table. I've been folding for ages! After that, I can start putting it away and then it will be a little bit clearer here and I can start on the lists.
No children here this week, they are both in Weymouth, sailing with the sea cadets. I bet they're having a whale of a time!

Right: I'm now off to do many HHCs with a break at 1:30 for lunch. Anyone care to join me from 12:30?

Sounds as though you've been Frog munching with avengence AJMoney!

OH bought home a big pile of mackerel last night from a chappie he knows who likes fishing but doesn't like eating fish. OH has done the nescessary on the fishities and I have boiled spuds for making sautes to go with tonight's baked fish and mash to make the leftovers into fishcakes for the freezer. So much for dealing with the Frog. Back to it now I supposed. Yuck all round really, blood, fishguts and frogmunching.
    Better is good enough.

I lost a post yesterday and can't remember what I wrote :( but I know that I wanted to say how delighted I am that Mr Wolf is on the mend.

Also very pleased to read good news about Ginge, Mumto5.

Welcome back to all returning Flyladies, congratulations to SandBsmum and well done with the unpacking ajm.

Glad to hear you won't starve this week, Pigpen!

HB, I can just imagine you wrestling with the cane toad and trying to dislodge it from your desk :rotfl:

I put back half a pound this week, but I still fit easily into my new size 12 trousers :D

The house is clean and tidy, as we are expecting DH's cousin and family any minute. Lunch is in the SC and I'm just having a quick :coffee: while it's peaceful. It is quite sunny, so I hope they've had a good journey from South Wales.

We received a very nice thank-you card from my brother and s-i-l for their stay last week, including a cheque which is an early Christmas present to buy bulbs for the garden. I shall have much fun choosing :)

Hope everyone has a good week. I shall be flitting in and out as usual (probably more out than in again!) (((Hugs))) to all who need them, and please help yourselves to spoons if needed x

Hi, Long time since I was here.

DD has just arrived to help me clean and as we didn't know where to start suggested we look in on here to see what you are all doing today. She is now running the vacuum over the upstairs corridor. I had better get tidying the surfaces in the living room.

iona, I may not starve but I might come home with scurvy!! lol..

Pixie has gained the confidence to attempt to take steps, she has done 2 a few times today before she wobbles over, but it's not going to be long before she too is off charging about. She stands all the time now and has discovered climbing.. she is rather cute.

I've just ordered the bits to do my nails myself so there goesmy fortnightly peace and quiet me-time sessions.. ne less reason to leave the house, I may never go out alone again *sob weep*

OH has gone to visit his friend for a few hours so I am downloading educational apps for DD3 to help with her GCSE work and some 'learning to write and read' ones for the littlies.
