I got the UV stuff it is much more durable than ordinary stuff and not much more expensive either really

Sorry I meant which one - I do mine with a lamp, I got the Sensationail starter kit a few months back on offer, and have been slowly adding to my colour range, I do love it. I tend to buy non branded bits now like the cleanser and remover, and have even dabbled in mixing colours :D

  • Well the HHC actually turned into HHC x2 but I'm now back to update progress.

    Monday Marvels
    Quick hoover round
Cut the grass if it stays dry
    Do some course work
Look online for accessories for ds2's room
Contact landlord regarding permission to put up a summer house and get a skip

    Tuesday
Catch up with emailsWork in Progress
Sort through towels, pants and socks - pair or fold and put away in relevant place
Sort and tidy all the piles of clean laundry sitting on the kitchen table
    Do some course work
    P/t job
    Dust around the house

I think that is everything taken off the list that I have gotten done. Now its time for HH chill time before getting ready for p/t job. I will come back later tonight and do my list for tomorrow

Phew. I'm pooped. Stopping for now as having tea shortly and want to say howdy to DH.
I actually got rid of 40 items from various wardrobes so am feeling a bit smug about that- specially as I have bunged the most awful pair of tiny shorts which DD kept cramming herself into.bless her, she looked like she had sausages for legs :(. But they're gone! So we can't argue about them any more :D.
Ok, offsky. Catch up later xx

I need to do this. DS2 has a pair of chinos that he loves but they are too short - even with the waistband halfway down his bum.

However, Mum called unexpectedly this aft. Took the dog for a long walk then sat and had cups of tea and nattered. Lovely but not very productive.

Now I dont want to be bothered.

Aaah, look at the time, got to pick DS up at 6!

    Where am I?
    Which way is "up"?
    Am I a human dreaming I'm a butterfly or a butterfly dreaming I'm a human?

Can you guess I'm confuzzled today?:D

Weird, weird dream last night; it was like a dream within a dream (anyone who's seen the Leonardo DiCaprio film "Inception" will know what I mean) and it's left me feeling a bit.... unreal.

Anyways, the good news - Mr LW is going back to work tomorrow!!:T:T:T
I shall miss having him here, but he's now well enough to drive (he can manage an Emergency Stop with no trouble) and can cope with hauling my wheelchair; obviously he's still got to take care, but I tell him he should be taking care in any case.;)

I don't really feel like I've achieved much today, but I've still ended up spoonless. I think I've spent the last fortnight running on pure adrenaline, and it's now catching up with me.

    What we have done is:
    • An emergency F&V shop in Central MK (market stall has bowls of stuff at £1 a pop)
    • Made bread
    • Made pizza (in the oven cooking as I type)
    • Made carrot'n'orange cake
    • Bathed Ted
Yes, the recalcitrant Border Terrier is now all sweet and clean, and still speaking to us!:D Mr LW was able to hoist him into the tub (little toerag came into the bathroom ok, bribed with doggy chocs, then made himself a dead weight so that it was hard to get him into the tub) then I washed him while Mr LW kept him occupied with a steady flow of doggy-chocs. Getting him out was easy - he was most co-operative!:D

Anyways, the pizza's ready, so I'll just send muscle-rebuilding vibes for Ginge and I'll see you all later.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Good news re Mr LW!!
Dinner took miles longer to cook than I anticipated - well, not longer exactly but more input from me. So nothing much else got done except helping DS with trumpet stuff
    Afternoon out enjoyed by all.
Have returned to discover DD's new passport has a mistake in it - they have spelt her place of birth wrong, despite me writing it really carefully, the PO checking it, it being on her birth certificate, and common sense dictating that 'NEW' makes much more sense than "NEN"! Phoned them - I have to go to the office in Victoria and wait all day in the hope they can issue a new one. And I can't make an appointment so I have to get there, (probably with DD in tow) by 7.45am so that I am near the front of the queue. Which means a train and a tube (paid for by me) in the rush hour which DD is not going to cope with well ( she can't cope with lots of people and crowds cos she gets sensory overload) and then I will either have to sit there all day or find stuff to do (and the money to do it with). Not happy. Man on phone knows I'm not happy. I have logged an official complaint but it will make not a jot of difference. AAAAArgh!!!!!!!!!!!
    May spend - £291.40/£320.00
    June spend - £106.40/£320.00

DD managed to clean the hall upstairs, the stairs (which she mopped) and the main hall. I wiped down the dusty walls and then went to a leprosy fund raiser. I got some special teas, a shopping bag and a video for £3, a few more Cmas pressies.

I aim to clean the sideboard from what DD described to DGD as 'bowls men keep things in'. It is a pile of bowls I intended to take to charity shop. They have things like car keys, tippex, 3 inches of string, some dice screws and a random piece of plastic! :D
