WW3 narrowly avoided thanks to my not so speedy thinking.. DD3 is sharing a room with Squeak and Dot.. they wanted her to sleep in the front room, with glass doors.. downstairs.. not suitable when she is banished to bed at 9 and we are up late and then the girls get up about 6 and go in the front room to their toys! .. anyway.. she is happy to share a room with the girls and I'm ok with trying it.

Tomorrow I am painting the bedroom and OH is going to visit his friend.. he can take the 2 littlies I think and DD3 and OHs sister can teach Pixie to walk, I paint pretty fast so we should be ok.

Wednesday we are away to the zoo and Thursday we are going to OHs dads for dinner apparently. Friday we are going to see his cousin with her 2 small girls and Saturday is yet to be planned.

I need to post a parcel and I need to take a phone back to carphone warehouse.. instead of processing an upgrade they made a whole new contract.. I'm not sure if it was their fault rather than mine as I did do it as an upgrade but never mind, it is sorted now even though it took 45 minutes to find a contact number that actually connected when you rang it!

    bed time for small pinks..

  • Evening all, very quiet day here. DS1 turned a big 11 today :)
DS2 away to cookery summer scheme and loves it. DS3 is like a bull and has been in bed since 5.30, he is so over tired. DD been in her room all day.

I've pottered slightly but nothing much done. Think while the football is on i'll go do abit in the kitchen. Might even throw in a MrA shop later.

  • I am in sort of.......two lots of contractors here, plus heavy plant machinery pick ups, two big deliveries to deal with, phoning around lots of suppliers for fencing supplies and organising deliveries, had a row with the not very nice NDN about moss in my gutters.....referred WW3 between the big Skints, DS refused to stay behind and came to horsepiddle with me, promptly falling asleep 10 minutes in, meaning I had to carry him to horsepiddle and I missed my appointment....as I was the last appointment of the day they all knocked off early except receptionist, so I have been squeezed into a slot tomorrow instead.
The cold never bothered me anyway

Evening everyone, I am just going to update my list and then get some sleep as feeling very tired tonight. Well the two girls did a really good job of clearing the kitchen, although the cakes looked like they had thrown every type of icing and decoration known to man at them! Ds has now make chocolate brownies, so we should get nice at fat on cake!
Dinner cooked and cleared, friend taken home, money written up, and a box load of ironing done, although the pile doesn't look much smaller! Gerbils also played with (well, 2 out of the 3) and fed.
DH still not home from work, so his dinner is in the fridge waiting to be microwaved.
Tossing up between ironing and bed!
Tomorrow I need to cook dinner at lunch time as we are meeting up with 2 friends whom I met at NCT classes almost 17 years ago. I see my friends fairly frequently but the 8 children ( swollen to 9 with the addition of a step child)who love to see each other, rarely manage it. They are 10 pin bowling tomorrow afternoon, and we will sit and drink coffee (I'm sure the 4 16 year olds can keep order amongst the 11-14 year olds without us!)
    May spend - £291.40/£320.00
    June spend - £106.40/£320.00

Hello  I'm not really here - been at paid stuff all day, then home for a quick tidy of the toy explosion then out for dinner as a [strike]bribe[/strike] treat for mum and stepdad.
Back to office early tomorrow and mum is taking littlies to MILs so possibility of flying tomorrow night. Living room floor is decidedly fluffy round the edges

Been cool here today. It is still August, you know! We don't need cold rain thank you Mother Nature! My lawn looks ridiculous. Most of it is about 3" high except the reseeded bits I did last month which appear to be about 8" high :rotfl: it looks like a bad combover...

Anyway hopefully I won't be too bushed to pop by / join in tomorrow...

Sorry Miss for being late x

Thank you for the threads Natty & Dusty x

Ds1 is doing a swimming course so we have to leave at 7.15 am each morning this week.
DH was off today so we went to look for a new car. I test drove one but didn't like it as couldn't get the seat position right and have hurt my back.

2 wardrobe drawers sorted (bedding & pjs)
    1 bag charity bag collected
Car paperwork found & checked ready for part exchanging/ selling

Dusty hope your blood test results were ok. X
Skinty sorry you missed your appointment. Hope everything goes smoothly with your replacement one. X
Pigpen hope your week goes quickly so you can be home soon. Hope you have some food with you as I know you struggle there. x
Welcome new people and returners x
Vanillahope your DD has enjoyed her birthday x
Nicki Well done for your progress with decorating. I used the pink to white paint in my bath room and it seemed to turn pale pink again with the moisture.
