Will start HHI at 2pm followed by HHC x two at 2:30. Anyone joining me- pretty please?

Well done on the Vol Job front, JTTOU. I'll join you at 2.15 (ie after The Archers which I missed last night), but not to do ironing. I have to go back to the humoungus frog I have already had two goes at this year, as it requires considerably more of my time than I had anticipated. That's this week taken care of then. :(

I've S&S'ed the shower room, done a load in the WM and pegged it out where it is drying in the wind despite the light freckling of rain drops, been to the market and put a load of yoghurt on.
    Better is good enough.

Now about to set off on today's list but have already put one load of bedding to wash and tidied a little upstairs - that's not too bad it is still my fROG - the paperwork!!

Spent more time than I had anticipated sorting out washing and now have an ironing mountain, but at least the stuff on the line dried.
Plowed through the list until I got to 'dust dining room' and was about to keep going in the kitchen but DD and friend asked to bake some cakes so they are in there making a lovely mess I'm sure, but it does smell nice! I have a feeling they are trying to ice hot cakes - so learning from experience then!
I've also chopped up about 10 windfall apples and turned them into an apple crumble - they are all black inside so take a lot of chopping - the money saving bit of me thinks it would be great to pick up all the windfalls and make stuff, the time saving part of me thinks it's a bit of a waste of time - we will have to see who wins!
Also checked out dates for various activities next term, and booked DH on the sailing course for his birthday.
There are sounds of running water in the kitchen - maybe they are washing up!
Need to chuck pizza in the oven soon to feed various children (DH and I are eating different things out of the freezer later - it really needs defrosting so this week is a real mish mash of stuff)
Then this evening I may need to run DD's friend home, fill in my budgeting book (in an effort not to get as left behind as last month) and then iron.
    May spend - £291.40/£320.00
    June spend - £106.40/£320.00
  • Thankyou, last week was a fab sucess got to the end of the week with only 1 room of doom left that needs a huge de-clutter tho so will plod through that in the week ..

Hi everyone and welcome new peoples.

Thanks Dusty for last week, hope your poorly eye soon better, and thanks Natty for this week.

Please count us in again this week as need to keep on top of things. Sorry so late in the day but at work and just stopping for a break and have my sandwich

Been a bit of a 'stop/start' day with DH at home and keeps asking for help with various things. Oh well, at least getting some of his jobs done - mainly work and car related things - but needs me to find things or relevant paperwork. Sent him shopping in the end so I could get on a bit :rotfl:

Cooked 2 legs of lamb yesterday and a hugemungeous chicken curry so been busy portioning, packing and freezing them down. Then had loads and loads of WUDUPA to do before could start on kitchen list

I 've also disinfected the bread bin - the bread keeps going mouldy even before it hits the best before date.
Mine used to do the same but I freeze it now in 2 slice packs and it lasts ages :rotfl:

It's not been warm enough here to take the thick duvet off the bed - sobs quietly :(
