Received today two letters (separate envelopes) for my two outstanding tickets from ParkDirectUK. They both say the same, other than the PCN number.Dear Sir/Madam (can't they tell?!)
We are writing to confirm that we received your representation on 01/05//2015 regarding PCN xxxxx and we will be writing to you in due course with our decision.
Yours sincerely

All those that said "waive the fine, you are right, we submit" are all wrong
I have this letter back today from Park Direct. They have obviously read my letter and considered it -
They also sent me four photos of my car, with and without the parking ticket, and showing the sign regarding parking.
I have not admitted to being the driver of the car.
Please advise whether I have a POPLA case.
Many thanks.Thank you for reading this message.0 -
Beavis is being appealed to The Supreme Court and they know it, yes appeal to POPLA, post your draft up here for the experts to look at. Suggest you get your own photos of signs and locations.0

The trouble is they are going to start quoting all these cases back to POPLA. Hopefully someone can advise that they are not relevant.
If I took a photo now, the sign which is shown in their photo is no longer there, the wind blew it down! However it was in situ at the time of the incident.Thank you for reading this message.0 -

Reading that letter, what's the weather got to do with it all?
Weather or not it was the whether? :rotfl:Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

A-ha, today I have received a second letter from PD, for the second contravention a couple of days later. However, the letter is exactly the same as the first, including the contravention time. They claim that it was observed between 0748 and 0928, whereas the original ticket states 1403 and 1438.
I can't find the original parking ticket for the first one, but the PCN I received states 0849.(which is obviously within the time boundaries of their rejection letter). Does the PCN need to have the full observation time, or does it need to be the end time of observation?
I obviously want to challenge both tickets at POPLA, but maybe only have a case with the second one regarding the times?Thank you for reading this message.0 -
Is nobody going to advise me further ? :sad:Thank you for reading this message.0
