Hello again. I have walked the dogs and caught up on all the village gossip, will fill DH in with it later. WUDUPA, one washload on line (new towels as I was left with purple fluff all over my face) and I have been in the cupboard of doom. I found what I wanted (in another cupboard) and could only get halfway in to sort things out as DH has put massive boxes of books in the way. So the back of the cupboard will have to wait. About to tend my tomatoes.Spend less now, work less later.0

Back from hols and me and hubby have a sickness bug which youngest had on tues/wed. So not a great holiday but the eldest 2 enjoyed it. Got about 7 loads of washing to do and shopping has been delivered. The loft looks fab and will be dd bedroom when it's decorated which means youngest will finally get his own room. Lots if dust and mess had to be cleaned up though which wasn't good when I feel this badHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

Hugs for MummyR3, and Dusty, hope the day improves for both of you. I'm just having lunch, tended tomatoes, couldn't be bothered to do anything else outside, my GUAG has gone. Have read the paper so will probably do the puzzle in a while.Spend less now, work less later.0

Just an update to let you know Bo passed away this morning. The vet said it was a brain tumour and putting him to sleep was the best thing for him, he was still taking small fits this morning and his wee eye had dropped a little. Completely heartbroken he's been there for 9 years (through so much) and has been fab with all the kids. We've got a lovely place for him on top of the hill which he loves to run chasing swallows and sitting with the cattle. He was so happy to see us this morning and I think he just knew his time was up. Really going to miss him“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0

Vanilla so sorry to hear that Bo is so poorly; all the healing vibes I can muster on their way.LW - do you have a walk-in shower ? Could you manage in there ?
Mr LW seems to think that he might be able to lift Ted - he's getting stronger by the day (Mr LW that is, not Ted:D ); and I'm looking at the possibility of wrapping him in a bath towel to put him into the bath (Ted that is, not Mr LW:rotfl: ) - he'll have to borrow one for drying off in any case. We'll try a "dry run" later and see how that goes.
Kazw I'll let you know if we need to go for "Plan B" (though I know no-one who owns a paddling pool) - I'd prefer to do him indoors though - if I know Ted, he'll roll in the dirt straight after if he's outside!:D
I've had the little chap running across the garden a few times for exercise; and I notice he's slowed down considerably; I guess age is starting to creep up on him.:( He's a rescue dog, so no-one really knows his true age - all we know is his humans got him from Dog Rescue in 2005; so he's definitely over 9.
Triumph of the Day: We managed to change the duvet cover between us, with no difficulty. I call this a triumph, because it's a sign that Mr LW is definitely healing well.:T Last week he wouldn't have contemplated trying it.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
