Hello flyladies, my weekend has started with a cuppa and (reduced fat) biccie. I have done quite well with the flying this week, each room has had some attention, the grass got cut and the washing and ironing are up to date.

Next this evening is a walk with my dogs (bit of a sad day today as it would have been SickDog's b'day) and then prepare tea and relax with DH. We need to get predictions sorted for the football season (just a bit of fun with our footie obsessed DS).

Weekend plans: pop to farm for fruit tomorrow, dailies and dog walking. Make picnic for proms tomorrow night. Sunday, do buffet stuff ready for presentation on Monday.

And any gardening I can fit in among the showers.

I will pop in over the weekend and I hope you all have a great one.

LW - is there anyone you can borrow a baby bath or similar from? Then Ted could probably step into it rather than having to be lifted. Not sure how comfortable that level would be for you though.

Jazee if I knew anyone who had one, I'd be on it like a shot; I could sit on the floor to work. Sadly, I don't know anyone.

motivation and spoons severely lacking.......AF has been keeping me up all night for the last 2 nights, so been trying to have cat naps during the day where I can, but with builders here still I feel really really groggy.

I am beginning to wish I hadn't started my room as I can't see the wood for the trees now. Very tempted to push all the stuff off the bed and on the floor and grab 40 winks.

Maybe I will feel better after a brew and a catch up with Fred and Mr Bon Jovi singing in my ear.

On a more positive note, DD1 is on young Skint Duty and DD3 is taking my lead and tidying her room (although to be fair, all her storage solutions are in place from when I sorted her room from top to bottom a little while back)

DD2 in need of a big hug now, so Fred can wait .....back later
The cold never bothered me anyway
  • LW how about local NCT groups? Or Mr LW could phone local childminders and see if someone could loan you a baby bath? Also maybe phone charity shops and see if they have one. Freegle or freecycle? Local churches could put you in touch with leaders of toddler groups who would leave a bath on the doorstep for you.. and collect it the next day?
    HTH :)

48 hours until I am dragged from my hovel to the deepest darkest depths of Mankchester.. *cry* .. what have I packed... nuffink!!! I don't want to go and have no motivation to pack anything.

Kitchen is looking nice though and Dot has a Speech therapy appointment in 6 months-ish ... love the speed these things move :p.

Bed time in here then I shall be on with a little more packing I think.

Ds2 is part way to additional diagnosis they are just waiting for some replies from school. We were warned that it wouldn't make any difference anyway. He has been referred to OT.

Kitchen window sill emptied and cleaned. Before it grew legs and said ribbet.

Bunnies put to bed for the last time, just need to get them up in the morning.

So much mess in the kitchen to tidy up in a minute.

DS3 has a friend for a sleepover and they seem very high atm.

DS1 has got a face to face interview and 'test' next Wednesday so fingers crossed for him.

Still way behind with the cleaning, maybe tomorrow.

I've done a bit of a fling and reshuffle in my room in a vain attempt at finding some floor to walk on!! .. I have 4 huge bags of school uniform and 4 school/college bags fully equipped for September. I have the baby basket ready to go to DD1's and assorted associated paraphernalia and 4 boxes of baby clothes. I put a stuffed binbag in the bin and put away some of my things. I also partially packed for the 3 girls and myself for next week..

1 hour well spent while OH got Pixie ready for bed, bored her to sleep and brought her up to occupy the now vaguely tidier room... but at least we have a visible bed to snooze in!
