Am jumping back into the thread with both feet. Used to be a regular poster and then 6 years ago went back to work once my girls started school. Regular routine no-existant, house is clean but like the deep clean tasks so back to the lists. On holiday next week so getting the ironing pile under control is high on list.

Not at work today so going to do half hour blasts. So far kitchen done apart from floors. So cupboard fronts done, cooker top done, dishes washed and put away, , sink shined and hob scrubbed.

Just had coffee so off to do next hhc -- bathroom and floors is the plan along with getting the clothes peeled from the floor in the kids riom and in the wash.

Nice to see so many familiar faces on the thread (several of whom i am friends with on facebook) , right timer set .

    Back from school

Ds1 is dropping A level biology and physics.

    He will now be doing
    AS English language
    EPQ Extended project
    A level History
Ocr Cambridge nationals (equiv to a level) ICT and he already has 20 Ucas points from his biology AS.

So all universities which require 3 individual A levels are out.

He needs to stay within a reasonable drivable distance due to his additional needs.

    Things are still fraught here.

Hope Miss Valli has found a suitable course x

    1x wm done
    DH has been for fbt
    Bathroom S&s done

Dancemum his new subjects support each other very well, so many take AS sciences and then drop them or redo the whole lot. I'm sure you will be able to focus on suitable uni's to visit now.

I would be visiting YOU and the piglets and I would have the good grace to come armed with cake. :rotfl:

My new vax has come. It picks up fluff my old vacuum would turn it's nose up at!

    I  my VAX

I have vacuumed the dining roo, the kitchen AND BEST OF ALL THE HALLWAY WHICH USED TO REQUIRE HAND BRUSHING BUT NOW I HAVE AN EFFICIENT VACUUM CLEANER IT WON'T!

Contacted uni-near-Dusty to ascertain when acceptance must be in by (2 working days - apparently Saturday is a working day
Contacted 'uddersfield to check up details for Open Day tomorrow

DD has gone to Pet Shop with DS's GF. For bunny food and sawdust. And to look at fluffy bunnies and other furries I should think. They better NOT bring any home.

Did post update on my HHC but site crashed on my tablet so back on the laptop (now DD1 off it).

    I managed to do:-

Scrub bathroom - including pipework etc.
Sweep kitchen, bathroom and porch floor then mop them
Clean washing machine door (only something I've been thinking I must do for about 3 month!!)
    Put a wash load on
Inspired girls to do their own HHC in their room

Had a coffee and pegged load of washing out and next load in machine. Lunch next and then will blitz lounge for HHC. Need to fit trip to library in too as DD2 is doing the reading challenge.

Make it ice cream or crisps and I'll polish you a chair and might even whizz Henry about!

WM being fed and churning pretty continuously now that we have a 36 hour window of unsoggy weather.

Lodger has decluttered herself to London with boyf for the weekend so OH and I have the place to ourselves for a brief spell. Much as I like having them around, this feels lovely.

Dy$on-dance has been undertaken on various stairs and levels.

I don't feel my get up and go has come back, but stuff is being achieved which makes an appropriate change.
    Better is good enough.
