Sorry to hear that he is disappointed. :grouphug:

I do not like results days, we have another one next week and then A levels to do all over again the next two years and DS1 is a totally different subject.

Lil Miss Valli didn't get the grades. There will be minimal flying here today:(

I'm gutted; she worked SO hard.

I'm pleased to hear others have had better results - well done Flyteens!

So sorry to hear about those who didn't do as well as they were hoping. Been there with both my nieces, but they are both settled and happy now. I hope they get good advice.

DS did well enough to keep his options open which is what we wanted. Have to wait for GCSE results next week now, as he needs high grades to get into the sixth form he wants. He has a really good back up offer though, so that is a blessing.

Done the shopping and cleared the kitchen from lunch. Need to crack on a bit now

I can't read and run. Huge congratulations to Master Kitten and Miss Lemanie on their results, and huge hugs and commiserations to Dance Son1 and Miss Valli.
    Better is good enough.

Sending best wishes to Miss Valliand to you too Valli.:grouphug:

Thank you for your kind words (and thoughts).

I have worked (a bit), tidied (a bit), watched 'World's worst natural disasters' with DS2 (a bit) we are up to no. 7  He is currently planning to be a geologist/meteorologist (but is only 9) which is better than DS1, who wanted to be 'a train'. No that's not a typo and I blame the Rev. Awdry!
