Best of British for all those awaiting exam results xxx
Hope you have some better weather and thank you, DD has gone to pictures with friends as a distraction
Dancemum, Valli and any other households awaiting AS/A2 results tomorrow sending all of you strength and calm to get through the next 36 hours, DS2 has been counting down since at least 37 days ago.

Much appreciated and I hope everyone has the results they need.
Yes same here, best wishes to all, we were looking at the grade boundaries this morning and it made DD more hopeful with regard to English Lit and History but it is still the Maths Core 4 that is worrying her.
Also someone had put off the attic hatch as the funeral director was closed that so tickled me reading as a stranger, no doubt there was sadness behind it no offence meant x
    :rotfl::rotfl:
The loft hatch is finally fitted but needs another coat of paint on that and the frame. I thought it was going to finish DH off and we would need the undertaking and not just wood-cutting services of our neighbour. :D

He is VERY stressed at the moment (DH not the neighbour) what with it being our very busy time at work (harvest), his family, especially his Mum, playing silly beggars again (), he is worrying about DD for tomorrow and how it relates to her immediate future :o and we were at the hospital again with DS1 today and he is fairly certain that he has decided to go for the operation sooner rather than later (this autumn hopefully). It is so difficult because DS1 has to decide for himself because he is 16 now but the surgeon does inspire confidence and we hear good reports despite him being fairly intimidating.

Lemanie, C4 was very difficult across both boards, grade boundaries are quite low for it, what does she need? DS2 needs A* in Maths.

Washing in, DW needs emptying, so need to get to some flying tomorrow.

DD did the OCR one and "only" needs an A, and because she did quite well last year it has eased the pressure a little this year. Her firm choice want AAA. Her best friend needs A*AA for Maths at Durham but the A* can be in any subject (Maths, Further Maths or Physics). Is DS2 hoping to do Maths and where? I'll keep all things crossed for him.

Another friend of hers is going to Princeton with an unconditional offer, we are all so proud of him, he has had a few hard years and he is such a bright boy who really deserves such an amazing opportunity :j.

I'm trying to do my paid work tonight so I can loaf off and be around for DD tomorrow.

Have finished!!! Am now the prod owner of a sort, tidy and lest 'about to burst all over the place' filing cabinet. YAY!

I also put the hoover round upstairs and put out clean towels etc in the bathroom, I'll wash the other set tomorrow.

Just out of interest how many sets of towels do you all have?

I got 2x2 nice bath sheets which I'm now rotating but there are quite a few older thinner ones in the cupboard taking up space I'm thinking of getting rid of them (probably via free cycle) as I don't use them but I can't quite bring myself to actually 'do it', for so long we had no nice towels...now we do I can't see to ditch the thin ones 'just in case'

    LOL

on the flying front I'm going to work tomorrow so will just 'sump in' when I get back

    Night all
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

Morning all. I hope all the flykids gets the results they want today.

I've already stripped my bed this morning, so will go and see what else I can do from today's list before gym, bath, and walking dogs. I also want to cut the grass today as it didn't get done last time I planned to (I decided not to wake the neighbours in the holidays) and it's rained since.

Oh and need to quickly hoover OldDogs bed (our chair) before putting clean throw back on.

    Have a great day everyone.
