  • Evening all, been away for a few days at the seaside. Came home today to Bo having another seizure, different this time and went on for over 4 hours. He's in at vet's now and has been giving meds to sedate him. We went to see him at 7 and he's not fitting anymore but is in a really bad state. He's up on his feet but very disorientated and I don't think he really knew who we were. The vet is really concerned because she thinks he's took a turn or maybe he has a brain tumor rather than epilepsy. The poor pet was walking round and round falling and knocking his head and teeth off the cage. Completely broke my heart to leave him. So we're to she how he is in morning.

    Hoping tomorrow will be better.

Vanilla - I hope the vet can do something for Bo today. Thinking of you.

I have had a lie in - till 8 - and still first on here I think.

Today after dailies and dog walking I will be tackling one of my cupboards of doom as there are some things I need in there. Lets hope they are near the front as I want some time to do gardening too.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning All

Well we've been coming up with a decorating plan so today DH is stripping DS's BR walls and it looks like most of this coming week will be spent decorating and then all being well DH goes back to work the week after.

First job for me is to hoover the hall and then move some stuff out of DS's BR.

    Hope Bo's recovered.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Vanilla, I hope Bo is improving.

    Elsie, that food looks delicious!

I've been up for a couple of hours and have hung out 3 loads of washing so far - another twirling in the WM as I type and 3 more to follow. It's a bright and sunny start to the day, and my plan is to get the rest of the gardening done while it's nice.

We had a lovely week with my brother and s-i-l here and are now planning for the visit of DH's cousin and her OH (another couple in their 80s) next week. We hope they'll enjoy the heritage railway one of the days and a falconry display on the other. The menu planning is easy - the same things as this week, but in a different order! (and we're eating leftovers this weekend :rotfl: )

Vanilla - Hope Bo is doing ok this morning.

Bit of a lie in this morning. Let woof out at 5.30 then went back to bed till 7. I even got a coffee in bed from DH. Breakfast scoffed and cleared up after. One load of washing done and on the line drying. I have also got 2 pots of bolognaise on the go (Veggie for DD1 and regular for the rest of us).

    Plan for rest of day:-

    HHI
    Mow front garden.
DH car needs hovering out before we pack for hols but will let kids do that as its their mess in the back.
    Hoover through
    S&S bathroom

Currently having a coffee and watching a bit of twilight with DD2.

    Happy weekend all x

Big hugs for you, Vanilla and Bo, and thinking of Jazee's SickDog's birthday, albeit a day late.

First thing this morning I loaded the WM, put the powder and whitener in and FORGOT to switch it on - ggggrrrrrrr - as it was pushing it to get that load even vaguely dry before the rain arrives. Yesterday's three loads are finishing off drying in the gloomy breeze, but I have no idea when I'll be able to get the final load in and out if the Met Office can be trusted which I very much fear it can judging by the colour of the sky. How come this autumn weather is here in mid-August?
    Better is good enough.
