Morning! Kiddies fed and first wash on. It will have to dry indoors :( never mind. Pork in slow cooker. Just having a cuppa, and DS wants to play so I'll not neglect him today. I will do half hour play then half hour clean...

It's black bin week so might get some flinging done - both kids need a clothes check, they have shot up this summer. Needed long sleeves / legs when camping and none were quite long enough :o shoes too - DD has just announced her play shoes fit - a few months ago they were flopping off her...

Feel like I need to get us ready for the grim weather now! It's only august !!!!!!!

Bossy we just came back of hols and feel like I shouldn't bother hanging the summer stuff in wardrobe. As all kids rooms are being swapped round in next few months I'll just sort them out then I think lol

Bossy I feel autumn is lurking too, I love it as a season but don't feel quite ready to quit summer as it is still the cricket season, having sai that DS3 just checked he has his cricket jumper in his bag this morning.

WM is on and about to put DW on then have my shower and do an hour of cleaning before a bit in the grden and write a list for cricket teas and do lunch.

Morning everyone, I have been awake the last couple of hours but just sitting in bed catching up with the thread.

Congratulations to flyteens that have got what they wanted and hugs to those who didn't (I know that feel only too well as I missed one of my grades in Int 2 this year and need to retake the subject alongside my Highers).

I also feel that Autumn is lurking as the weather is changing and I am back at college next week (only 1 day for induction then start properly the following week).

Vanilla - Sorry for your loss.

    Morning All

Well DS's BR's walls are stripped and DH is putting wallpaper on as we speak! So far this morning I've PVA'd some of the BR wall, walked the dog and picked blackberries at the same time (luckily before the rain started) and cooked breakfast. Next job is the dishes and I need to go and get some more wallpaper paste as how am I supposed to know that if it says it does 10 rolls on the front, I'm supposed to read the back for it to tell me it only does 2 - 3 rolls of embossed paper!

    Good news Valli!

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Jue

Just discovered red wine stain on a cream seat cushion, wondered why it had been turned over. AArgggghhhh......good job DH has left for the paid stuff already.

lemon juice is supposed to get it off.. if all else fails I use WD40 on EVERYTHING!!!!

BAD night with the 2 littlies last night, they were both in with use for most of the night but at least they slept!!! I didn't and I have left a smelly sleeping Pixie in my bed with OH .. they can stay there as long as possible.

2 loads of washing to go out and only 3 LOOOONG rows (272 sts) of my current project to do and it is finished knitting ready for blocking :) I had hoped to post tomorrow but it will have to wait a couple of days. I had to have a few days break in the middle because my hands were unusable .. they were like dead crow feet lol

Cuppa and knitting then I shall finish the packing for OH's mothers and take several boxes or stuff round to DD1 for the baby.

Thanks for the tip Piggers. Cover is now in WM and I'm hoping to dry it in the sun too, hoping that will help. Sent a text to DH, I don't even think he can remember doing it.

Just having a cuppa and a banana and will then walk the dogs. Will take a brolly though in case it rains. Lovely day at the moment.
Spend less now, work less later.

Going to do a HHC in my DR now if anyone would like to join me. There's still bags in there from when we came back from holiday last weekend - not clothes though - they've all been washed.
