Might have been if I'd actually made it DF! Ran out of energy and ended up buying some ready made pizzas instead- they were on offer at least!

Another £100 transferred to the CC this morning. Hoping a £300 cheque from a client will clear in the next few days so should be able to duck under £24k this week.

I burnt the shop bought pizza too debtfreeoneday! The children didn't seem to notice and ate it anyway :D Thought they'd messed with the timer but after another near cooking disaster yesterday (and the bloomin thing scaring us half to death going off hours later) it seems our trusty kitchen timer has had it's day! :rotfl:

Now under £24k! :j Really really can't wait to get under £20k, exciting stuff!

Going to have a busy day working today, and try to blitz the kitchen... my efforts to keep it clean and tidy have felt like shoveling snow in a blizzard recently- why is everyone else in this house incapable of rinsing a plate after they have used it, or putting rubbish in the bin?! And why oh why must DH use every single pot, pan, plate and utensil whenever he cooks? We got rid of our dishwasher when we moved here and I miss it. Too expensive to buy another though, especially as we'd need to get someone to sort out some kind of plumbing arrangement for one in our current kitchen.

Anyway, another job for today is to do a coin sweep. Keep seeing coppers here there and everywhere so they needed rounding up into my little sealed jar. Last time I emptied the jar there was about 20 quids worth in there and it's halfway full again now.

Yay good job for breaking into £23k's

It's amazing how much fun tidying up the odd copper or silver is and adding it to the pot!!

Another £50 winging it's way off the CC today.

I spent yesterday hopelessly hungover after a very rare night out drinking with friends. Had a great time so don't begrudge the spending too much but argh, what a waste of a beautiful sunny spring day!!!! Nice to wake up feeling fresh again this morning after an early night.

Need to make up for it today and actually get some stuff done! Today's to do list:
Frugal meal plan for the week ahead. Weekly food shop. Mow the back lawn. Dig over our veg patch. Pick up some seed potatoes and get them planted along with some seeds we have left over from last year. Cook nice big Sunday roast.

It's turned yukky here too! :( Looked quite nice out there on the way to the garden centre this morning and was raining on the drive home!

Oh well, got the seed potatoes I wanted, hopefully we'll have a few nice afternoons after school this week to get started on the planting with the kids.
