Thanks girls!
I am starting to get excited about getting sub £20k now... DH is due a bonus of about £2k soon (April maybe, not too sure exactly which month) so having a total starting with a 1 doesn't feel too far off! :j
Slightly spendy weekend here... wine and a chinese takeaway with friends- oops. Excellent time had by all though (and one of the best chinese takeaways I have ever tasted) so probably worth it
Back to school for the children tomorrow so will be seriously knuckling back down to work in the morning, looking forward to it! It's been a fun but exhausting week!Total Starting Debt August 2014- £38,061

Morning all!
Miserable day outside here so the plan is to have a big house sort out, tidy, and spring clean. Struggling to tear myself away from my coffee and my computer though.
Homemade pizza this evening I think.
Transferred a bit of cash onto the CC this morning so made a start on that for the March. Can hardly believe it is the last day of February today.Total Starting Debt August 2014- £38,061

Didn't get much tidying done yesterday so today I am definitely getting on with it! Need to tackle the washing mountain too.
Picked up a bargain reduced piece of brisket in the Co-op this morning so will be chucking it in the slow cooker to eat later. Desperately need to do some meal planning and a frugal weekly shop done, we have been a bit bad with top up shops this week.
Most of our beginning of the month standing orders and direct debits should have gone out when I check accounts online tomorrow so will hopefully be able to pay a bit more off the CC then.Total Starting Debt August 2014- £38,061
