Ah, but we don't have lovely horses to pay out for! Would probably be debt free in about 2025 if we did!

A few days since my last post again... I guess that could be a good thing as I feel as though much of the stuff we are doing is par for the course now and I don't feel I have much to update on- but on the other hand I know it's good to check in daily as it definitely keeps focus up. DEFINITELY.
Still working our way through the freezer and cupboards! 'Toad in the hole' tonight- AKA sausages and Aunt Bessies Yorkshire puddings dug out of the depths of the freezer! Served with frozen peas and gravy! Children loved it, so all good. Starting to scrape the barrel now so will probably have to venture off to buy some more food tomorrow.
Had a productive few days, so the week is going okNot much movement on the debt total, although have updated my sig after the CC minimum payment came out.

Have you enjoyed eating the freezer etc down or has it been a chore? Our freezer is down but the pantry has things in it that I could do with looking at lol.Debt - CCV £3792

Not had much to say this week! Life ticks along. We have had a few unexpected expenses this month which hasn't been great for the motivation, but we are still plodding along!
I quite enjoy rustling stuff up from the freezer, although I admit there are times when I much rather pop out and buy whatever my heart desires. Think we are going to treat ourselves to one of the Valentines meal deal things running in a few of the supermarkets, so that will be something to look forward to on SaturdayTotal Starting Debt August 2014- £38,061

Happy Valentines Day everyone!
Enjoying a lazy day here and looking forward to a nice meal this evening.
Still £391 to pay off to hit my target this month and it's looking highly unlikely, but nevermind, that's what happens when you lose a bit of focus! Actually, after working so hard on the debt-busting over the last few months it has been refreshing to have a tiny bit of a breather so it's not all bad. Back to it now though!Total Starting Debt August 2014- £38,061

Right- BACK ON IT!
Frugal weekly shop done yesterday. Popped the roast chicken carcass into a slow cooker full of water last night ready to make some chicken and vegetable soup today. Smells wonderful! Will get the breadmaker on the go too.
The weather is looking pretty dreary, would expect nothing less of February half term! Will probably have a quiet day pottering about at home with the kids today.
Only 11 or 12 days to go until payday and another chunk off.Total Starting Debt August 2014- £38,061
