    Hi you all

Another day of not reading so apologies up front..

I am totally knackered. Thought I was pootering around house today but weather improved mid morning. Had decided yesterday on a big revamp garden wise, and doing it today.

Rain here until about 10.00 then got washing out. Went to local garden cente, bought compost and looked at what I could put in after I took out heathers. They still have a few busy lizzies etc. Got a few ideas and sussed out what they had in stock. Then went to B&Q and had a look there. 3 Hebes for under £3.00. Bought 4 x 3 plants to plant round Came home and decided one border at a time! Had to go back to local garden centre and bought some more over wintering fuschia so have that in back border one, will plant hebe tomorrow with a front row of annuals (Busy Lizzie).

Our garden waste green bin emptied today which left me in a quandry as a full bin if was doing major works for next two weeks. Looked out leaflet and it says they do special uplift for garden waste. They are coming on Saturday so I can garden to my hearts content they will take up to 20 bags of garden rubbish free! I nipped to work and got rubble bags and filled this is a long term project! Garden totally neglected and I can only do a bit at a time. I have two weeks so I should get it back to rights!

Feel totally ill now, Getting 4 teeth out tomorrow which now means I am 6 front teeth without which means I can't go public! I am such a serious dentist phobic no-one here I am stressing out and almost hypervetilatating. DH away, DS in Ireland, DD has enough. Just wish someone could be with me tomorrow and I know you will be!!

Hope to do more gardening on the project if I feel up to it but don't want to feel I want to speak to anyone if I have no front upper top teeth! It is going to be so obvious. Tomorrrow is another day.

    Love

((((Hugs)))) grannybroon - I'm sure the dentist knows what he's doing - though I know that doesn't mean much when you're phobic about something. I think you're just going to have to visualise the full set of teeth you'll have at the end of it :o

Hugs to Queenie, some days can be carp spelt differently ;) but sometimes they do have to come around. I hope tomorrow is brighter for you :)

Well, bedtime for me as I have work tomorrow (another nannying job I have-I have two part time jobs). Tomorrow is going to be another crafting day with the kids I think as the weather is a little too unpredictable. Though if its nice at lunchtime, I think we'll eat out in the garden. And if its raining, I think we'll have an indoor picnic. Its always nice to do something a bit different.

Last week we made papier mache boats, this week who knows. It tends to depend what they've been doing on the weekends as its nice to link into things. So, thats all from me for today.

Goodnight to all and to all a good night.

Queenie, your day really didn't go well, did it...by now I hope that you are either in bed reading a funny book or tucked up on the couch watching some rubbish comedy thing on tv and enjoying a glass of wine. Be a little easier on yourself, please...if we were perfect this life would be a very dull one....although if you could see my house you would consider yourself to be perfect...I subscribe to the theory that we are not meant to live in antiseptically clean surroundings...its bad for us, as Odds and Sods ( I think) said in an earlier post. I sometimes have ambitions to be the perfect housewife but never get much further than the thought. I am a good cook, a good listener and a good grandmother...these are my strengths. I think that you could help yourself out of the dumps by concentrating on your strengths and realising how wonderful you are! You are so helpful and caring when others are in need that I think that you should give yourself a pat on the back. Sleep well.

Jill, enjoy your holiday, hope that you find your father much improved.

Queenie, I hope you're feeling better. You do sound so cross with things. Everyone needs to be kind to themselves once in a while and you are bound to still be shaken up by what happened. You wouldn't be human otherwise. Nor would you be human if OS consumed your every waking moment. Away and have a frozen pizza, glass of wine, family sized bar of chocolate and watch some rubbish telly. As prescribed by Dr Haribo.

    Take care of yourself.

    HURRAH!!!!

I have just discovered (on another forum) that my borough has finally got its own Freecycle group

I've managed to get rid of lots of things successfully on the generic London group, but never actually had a successful response to somebody else's "offered" ad as there are so many people on the London group that somebody else always gets there first. Most London boroughs had their own group, except us - now we have one too
