OS 16th July 2007

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for Fri 13th July. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

:hello: Goooood morning fellow OS'ers :D:D:D

Not slept too well, got things praying on my mind ... hang on, kettle's boiled, brb ...

It's rained all the night through, thankfully between thunder storms yesterday I managed to get some more washing dried.

Only doing a quickie whip round today houseworkwise - did more than enough over the weekend.

Going to put the beans into the slow cooker and make them into some kind of casserole meal for tonight.

Welcome to the new faces posting yesterday  :D

Wishing you all a moneysaving Monday. Hugs for those who need/want them. :D:D:D

Good morning Queenie, Amie & all to follow,

I've just gotten back from taking Benny for a walk. Did the house out this morning & caught up with the washing. Also made a batch of bikkies. ;) I got a call around lunchtime from XDIL to say her & DGS were on the way here. :D :j:D Should be here in the next hour so thought I"d come on now and post and let you all know the great news.

Plans for the rest of day and night is lots of kissing & cuddling. :D Twas a cold morning at 4 degrees. Cold coming in now. Hope things work out for you Queenie. I'm sure it looks a bit better in daylight. Off to read your post Amie.

Hope you all have a nice day. Byeeeeeeeeeee

    Morning! :hello:

I'm another one who can't sleep! Lovely day yesterday, Auntie loved her photos and it was especially great to catch up with all my cousins, and best of all the weather was brilliant as all the rain was earlier in the day. In fact it was just a tad too hot in their garden!

Off to Wales on Friday to stay with my sister and to visit her car boot sales and charity shops which are always much better than ours!:D I will have to break into some savings to cover the bargains!

Aussielass - enjoy your day with dgs, how lovely to be cold though it is far too muggy here!

Queenie - when I have things playing on my mind I find mega quantities of :coffee: help, hope things work out.

It's a whip round (slow one for me though) day here as well, can't believe how messy this house is, luckily just surface clutter as flyladying has helped me keep on top of the worse.

Breakfast - an inst porridge oats (still using them up:rolleyes:)
Lunch - Mozarella and sundried tomato salad, yogurt
Dinner - chicken stew in the sc (need to freeze a couple of portions for oh next week.

    Have a lovely day

    Catz x

    Morning all
It's still raining here & has been since yesterday afternoon.
A friend came over to see us yesterday & brought over two boxes of stuff for me to put on Ebay for her, she's a bit of a technophobe.
I'm not sure any of it is worth anything, but I'll give it a go for her.
My own Ebay sales now amount to £100, which I'm very excited about.
Not much else to say, Thumper & Ogden are not interested in coming out in the rain, I can't say I blame them.
    Hugs to all

Morning All Another Early Riser here.

Well at least it has stopped raining, and seems brighter. Trying to decide what I need to do against what I "have" to do.

DS arrives home tonight so no doubt chaos will reign for a day or two!

Nothing much else to report so (((hugs))) all round.

    Morning all

First day back after holidays, went to Dorset and were really lucky with the weather, it only rained overnight mainly, so hope the others who were away were as lucky

Back to work today, and yes, it's raining again  Apparently they are having a heatwave in Southern Spain - wonder if they could send some over here.

Will hve to try to read through last weeks threads, but I'm sure someone will let me know if I have missed anything important.

Hope everyone is OK, and hugs :grouphug: to anyone needing one x

    Morning all,

It is another grey day by the looks of it  Why won't the sun put his hat on?

My washing machine has got something stuck in the filter which means I can't turn it to get it out. I am taking washing to launderette on way to work and having it service washed (what a luxury :D ) and then ringing the repair man when I get to work.

Dinner tonight is pizza, chips and peas with HM choc cake and custard for pud.

Lunchbox done, DDs and dog fed, my cup of tea made and cold on the side:rolleyes: . Time for a shower and some make up methinks....

:grouphug: to those who want/need them.
