I have given away the packet of tobacco which is what finished me off. I hadn't even been thinking about it until I found the darn stuff.
Not much achieved flying wise, DD slept on sofa most of day and I went to bed in prep for nights.
DD out with friends today so I shall snooze away quite happily. DH can sort tea. Lovely!
Still not got a full wash load so none to push through yet.

LW - so glad that Mr LW made it home for bedtime. I can provide bungee cord if you need it.

MistyBlue - drama queen is true. Your collie is gorgeous. He's feeling better again this morning. No more whimpering just normal doggie purring which is great. He's also worked out that if you drop the parcel of ham on the floor you can get the antibiotic pill out before eating the ham. Grrrrr.

    Morning!

Just been woken by DD but she's in her room now playing dollies. DS still asleep. So I'm staying put until someone demands breakfast ;)

Glad it's bedroom, need to do my bed today anyway.

Spoke to my dad last night and he's popping round after work for a visit.

    Morning all

Home from a fantastic holiday and raring to go. Somehow I seem straight back into UK time which considering we were 12 hours apart on Monday is good news.

Started flying when we got home as the cats had been at home sleeping on all the chairs and beds they are not allowed on. One had an emergency visit to the vet by my mum - abbcess - yuck. WM1 of smelling damp towels and swimmers done last night, WM2 of 10 already on.

Both showers were not working when we got home so DH has been busy fixing one, other needs a new pump.

LW - sending oodles of spoons your way and glad MrLW is the other side of his op

FBO - hugs for you and the beast, horride expereience for you both

and finally Natty a huge thank you for holding the fort for so long.

Ironing for me now, DH needs clothes for work and DS3 is up too.

Welcome home, Dusty and family

Welcome home MrLW - glad the op went well, now please behave yourself and give your body the optimum chance of healing quickly. Bungee cords at the ready, LW! You and MrLW will have to give each other a good talking-to about not doing too much. Dr Ionafan prescribes rest for both of you.

    Popping in from my holibobs.

Flying: I cleaned & antibacd the villa on arrival including washing all the crockery, cutlery & pans etc. Am I the only one who is this crazy and obsessed?

DS2 is enjoying himself but has had quite a few meltdowns. This maybe our last family holiday.

No you're not crazy or obsessed. Unless I was going to Honey Bear's cottage, I would do exactly the same. But now you've done it, forget cleaning for the rest of the week and enjoy your special family time x
He's also worked out that if you drop the parcel of ham on the floor you can get the antibiotic pill out before eating the ham. Grrrrr.

FBO, I'm glad Ozzie's beginning to feel a bit better. I used to find camembert cheese the best thing for giving my dog his tablets - he couldn't get them out and just wolfed them down because he loved cheese!

My Toots list has taken a big hit this week :D and I am in the mood to take more off it! I also sorted out menu ideas for next week, which will involve a bit of cooking on Monday. The migraine is still grumbling on, but I'm trying to vary what I'm doing about every 15 minutes (except when I'm inspecting the inside of my eyelids :rotfl:) and hoping that this tactic will help.

    My list for today:
    - before breakfast, finish clearing my desk, the spare bed and chest of drawers
    - put away all the half-used cans of paint and tidy the utility
    - remove not just one but two more molehills from the lawn  and drop garlic down the holes in an attempt to deter the mole from using the tunnels
    - spray 2 black trestles with black paint (as they were originally, until DH splashed white gloss all over them  ) - I use them with a large old sheet of marine plywood to make a table for potted-on plants in our shady back yard
    - hair appointment at 10:30
    - then shop at @ld!
    - go to U3A talk on Register Offices at 14:00
    - then call at MrT and a couple of other shops in town centre
    - if time, re-pot the hostas and plant out more things

I need to re-hem the DR curtains by hand and use the sewing machine for the linings, but will probably have to leave this until tomorrow, when my head will hopefully be less muzzy.

Will catch up again later. Hope everyone has a good day. (((Hugs))) where needed, and a fistful of spoons to LW x

Well the food planning didn't happen yesterday, but some ironing did, so that is a bonus!
I've just looked at the list for today and I've already done our bedding so I am ahead before I've even started!
    My plan for today -
    - S&S bathroom and shower room
    - plan food, write a shopping list and go shopping!
    - take DD to her kayaking course and book a sailing boat for her to introduce her friend to sailing tomorrow, so that she can get her sports Blue Peter badge. I am ignoring the weather forecast (rain)
    - budget for this month and maybe take the money out that we need if I can get to the Post Office
    - e-mail AQA exam board re maths qualifications
    - clear the dining table so we can eat off of it
    - clear kitchen before bedtime

Should be doable if I actually get up and start doing it!

    Have a good day everyone
    May spend - £291.40/£320.00
    June spend - £106.40/£320.00
