    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
Didn't get a chance to post this morning but yesterday was another busy day. Boys bedroom got done, 2 washing baskets and 2 1/2 bin bags of rubbish out. My hanging basket that I've had for 2 years + finally went up with flowers yeaaaaa. Today has been dropping off and collecting kids and not much else, think I'm coming down with a dose of the cold too.

Paint touching up now complete :)

I slept for 2 hours again this afternoon and have banished the migraine - for now anyway.

Yesterday evening I was looking online for some inexpensive heucheras, for a shady border just outside the French windows, but didn't find any I thought worth buying. Have just opened MSE email and found a special offer of 6 plug plants for only £10 including delivery. Result! Thanks MSE Martin :money:

About to sit down and watch GBBO (no chance of actually eating anything vaguely like their creations :p ) and will also meal plan for next week when we've got visitors. I need to make desserts, 'cos that's what my brother's used to! We normally just have yogurts, but I don't think my s-i-l would think that's quite good enough.

More hugs to FBO and Ozzie - FBO please take extra care of yourself too.

Oz is physically on the mend but mentally he''s a basket case. He still won't go past the tree outside the house. However the whimpering has lessened and we had a couple of well known doggies on a lead say hi. He was fine with them so hopefully he will recover fully.

I haven't posted in ages (I still lurk and I follow the lists as much as possible, so a big thank you to the ladies who post them! :) ) but I'm de-lurking to send good wishes to Ozzie.

FBO - As I'm sure you know, Rough Collies are slightly neurotic at the best of times, and they can turn into real drama queens at much less that this, so no wonder Ozzie is still a bit traumatised after his awful experience. I'm sure he will continue to improve, especially if you can do his first few walks alongside some familiar and friendly dogs to improve his confidence.

My boy sends his best wishes to his brethren! ;)

FBO once again, I've replied to you on the Daily thread. x

Misty Blue that is one beautiful Rough Collie. :o

Folks, sorry for absence yesterday and today - been a tad busy.;)
Anyways, progress report: Mr LW was allowed home 18:00 yesterday, they fed him at the clinic, so I didn't need to cook last night. Unfortunately, I also forgot to eat anything myself.
He's had some side effects, which, not to go into detail, have entailed some extra washing, but it's honestly no big deal - and doesn't involve any extra ironing.:o Said side effects appear to be clearing now, thankfully.:T
    He's feeling a tad sorry for himself, but then, he's a bloke....:D
He is, as predicted, trying to do things (where are those bungee cords??) but has been firmly told to not make me have to watch him like a toddler, as I don't do children!:D
He's got a certificate from the clinic saying he's unfit to work for two weeks; he'll be getting a follow-up appointment in the post shortly, and we just take it from there.
I'm very, very tired (anyone got any spare spoons?) and my head's a total shed (probably due to nervous exhaustion as much as anything) but trying my best not to let on, as he'll just try and do things. Bit of a Catch-22, that!
So far I've had to endure all three Lord of the Rings videos..... I may yet throw the tv out of the window!:rotfl:
Jessie's been as good as gold; she was very excited when he came home, but I put her in the garden while we got him indoors, and I kept her lead on to greet him, til she'd got over the initial excitement, so that she couldn't leap up. She means well, but she's a big lass, and doesn't know her own strength.:o
Sincere thanks for all the good vibes and wishes; I'm certain the Power of the Flyladies has once again made a huge difference.:A
I'll post again.... some time soon. When I get chance and can string a coherent sentence together.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Good news, Lamewolf as froddy says, you take it easy too. The dust will still be there next week and the world won't stop turning for it x

    And misty lovely poochie pic!

I've unpacked DS big Xmas pressie (big Lego a Arctic set reduced) and popped it up in the loft. I know its ages away, but it was a good price, and I like to be organised. They had really big things last year (bike & big dolls house) so this year it will be less, err, well, just less! Lol.

Put all the camping stuf and other cr*p back up in the loft!

Hoovered the stairs this morning and had a good sort out in ds1s bedroom. Everywhere now looks clean and tidy, unless you open a cupboard or drawer. In fact I don't think it has ever looked so clean and organised. My next job in there is to go through and sort out all the stuff in the drawers and warderobe. We have one f those big 16 drawer units full of toys, most of which he never plays with. But ds2 will probably start to play with soon. Difficult decisions! Also managed to clear the hallway. The floor could do with a sweep and a mop now!

Tomorrow's jobs- Hoover bathrooms and put the stuff back in the loft. Although one of our friends who emigrated a few years back is coming over tomorrow until Friday so won't get a lot done!
