    (when is half term?)

My DS2 breaks up Thursday 23 October and goes back Monday 3 November.

I would go on the list and hopefully be able to make it this time :o Sorry for the effort you put into arrangements to have them fall through Jazee. Hope you feel better soon.

Can we have a vote on your door colour Pigpen? I would say that you ought to go for a repeat of the same colour (my favourite colour is green) and you could still live in the Shakin' Stevens house :D. Very beautiful small people pics btw.

Yesterday I did most of the LR list but it wasn't bad in there so I wiped the paintwork in the hall and cleaned all the glass doors downstairs.

Today my desk/study are still spick and span but we are off out for the day, with a hospital appointment in the afternoon, so I will just give the bathroom a s&s before we head out (and whilst I am in there cleaning myself ;))

    Have a good day everyone.

Thanks for the dates Lemonie, I have a sneaking suspicion that is already a particularly busy week at the paid stuff, so I'll check when I'm back tomorrow and try to plan a day.

So far today I have fed the dogs (LittleyDog not interested for second day in a row although seems fine in every other way - may need a trip to vet), and I've read the paper and done two Sudoku puzzles. Just having some toast to go with the tablet (!) and a cuppa. Must then think about actually getting dressed and walking the pooches between showers.

Since last post, I have actually got dressed, had a dance around the bedroom and washed up. Now to walk the dogs. The weather is looking ok at the moment so think I might get out in the garden.

It felt like yesterday was a bit of a disaster at first, but I did actually get some bits done. I decided the bedding on my bed needed doing more than DS, so that is all lovely and clean and a new set of bedding put on my bed (although I'm just sleeping under the duvet cover at the moment, so didn't need to battle with the duvet). I ran a couple of errands, made lasagne with DD, (very tasty it was too!) and emptied the bins, but it all stalled after that! Mind you, I did take DD to a fun event in the park, where she went to the youth group , and I got to make a very pretty flower shaped pin cushion, and had a manicure (free) so I came away feeling rather more relaxed!

And now it is 10.30 and some of you have done more work than I get done in a week and I'm still sat here in my PJs! I usually get up at the same time as DH but he is away so I overslept rather and have now potted about and done nothing!:(

Tips for motivation please, cos I'm falling further and further behind where I need to be re the house and can't get myself going to do anything about it:(
