Dogs walked again (for 5 mins, got caught out in a shower) so home, changed and house now hoovered through quickly.

Been helping a friend, although it was interrupted when I had to pop back home as I had DS's work shoes in the jalopy, having picked them up from the cobblers first thing and he was called in early to work because someone's ill. (He has a 'summer' job in a bar)

macaron production going on apace - recipe book is in French so DD's mate is in charge. It looks - and smells - like GBBO in my kitchen!

Iona - joining in would be great but I think I missed it! I try to avoid being on the computer too much cos once i sit down I tend to stay looking up home ed sites for subjects we have no intention of studying for a while!

I have to confess to sitting on the sofa far too long watching 2 episodes of a documentary about ancient civilisations; well, in theory I watched them, in practice I dozed on and off - I seem so tired at the moment.

On the plus side I have now managed to hoover the living room, sofas, and the dining room (which is actually the room we are in most of the time). The stairs will have to wait until someone male returns cos hoovering them does my back in. So that's yesterday's list thing done! I've also kept an eye on DD baking cos she is still quite lacking in confidence, but I didn't have to help her out at all - she even took them out of the oven on her own, so things are looking up. I've also helped her learn some violin music. And DS bedding is in the washing machine. I was going to do a load of clothes but DD and I haven't generated enough! It's the clean work shirt everyday plus t-shirt for the evening brigade that create so much!

I need to go and check DD is ok icing her cakes and then I need to plan some meals for between now and Monday, including some nice food for DHs 50th birthday tea on Sunday. It's only us and my parents cos he refused a party, although the men at church did take him out for a surprise curry!
I also want to try and get some ironing done before we go out to watch the Lego movie this evening - not my first choice!

I've been reading everyone's posts but at the moment I'm getting you all a bit muddled up! So sorry that I'm not really able to answer you at the moment

    Hello!

    Finished work at 3 woot!

Seems I have been ordering tat online and it's all turned up today :p chargers for the wii, and my balance board (maybe I will do some wii fit tonight?), toy tools for DS, lol he's "fixing" everything just now and an indoor 3arm airer / ironing thingy for moi. Oh and a puncture repair kit. Guess what I'm doing tomorrow lol.

Kids had a big dinner today and don't seem interested in food, so I'm thinking an easy tea tonight, maybe some eggs.

But, since they have been swimming and had hair washed after, I think I'll take the opportunity to change their beds! Off I go!

Sorry I haven't been sending ((hugs)) and spoons but been a bit preoccupied.

Oz is physically on the mend but mentally he''s a basket case. He still won't go past the tree outside the house. However the whimpering has lessened and we had a couple of well known doggies on a lead say hi. He was fine with them so hopefully he will recover fully.

i hope oz gets over the mental trauma of what happened, it is promising that he was ok with the familiar dogs who came to say 'hi' hopefully things like that will build his confidence.

food sorted just need to do the table now as a couple of people are round tonight (guy to finalise facias, and a friend whos sorted out the hedge trimmer for us)
just realised i didnt get round to doing the lounge with the weather being so nice and staying outside to iron:o

Anyway.. it will be Black, dark blue.. not navy but dark, or burgundy/maroon ... I loathe green... it almost put me off buying the house!
    Well that's me :silenced:!
Then I vote maroon, it will hide the muddy rain splats/foot scuffs better. ;)

Ooh macaroons, ils sont d!licieux, Valli

I gave the bathroom a good scrub with Vim before we went out and managed to re-break the shower head, need some more superglue, oops.
