Dot is going to be a splat.. she has just squashed ham, coleslaw and tomatoes into the rug while I prepped dinner, she then face painted herself while I was cleaning her mess, then while I fed Pixie she has thrown books and OH's practice swords and all manner of toys all over the front room I had just tidied after the coleslaw massacre. While we brought the bouncy castle in out of the rain she scribbled on the wall with black whiteboard marker and Oh dealt with her and rescued her from the jumperoo, while I put out dinner which she proceeded to squish into every orifice except the one it was meant to go in then distressed Squeak by poking her potato... She has been punished with the shower.. you'd think we were water boarding her, it was just making her clean honest.

Evening! Sounds like fun and games back in the pigpen household!

I have only emptied the bin, put the wheelie out and bleached the kitchen one. I shall wash my lunch box and make some more packup but that's all.

Luckily I did the living room last night ;)

I left work at 3pm only to get a call at 10 past, spent half an hour on the phone when I got home and finally switched off at 6.30pm  although I did stop to make some tea for the littlies. They have been wild, poor MIL has put herself to bed already... I've warned them to tone it down tomorrow else she won't let them have a treat :p poor granny will be ready for the loony bin by September.

Sorry the meet has been postponed but maybe we will make the next one. The forecast here is storms, although it was this evening too but no sign yet. Only one very brief shower.

Back in the office at 7 again (yawn) but hopefully I will get a reasonable finish time, then that's it for the week. I have done nothing but whinge at work all day (I did apologise, lol) but here we are at Tuesday night and technically it's Friday tomorrow! Hurrah!

But I still might not get much flying done. And now the littlies are home they will probably trash the place...

I went to the orange shop again, and I've munched another frog - the toilet cistern has been slow filling since before Christmas at least. After some searching last night I discovered it could be a simple fix so I went and bought the washer needed (£1.62, and the last one in the shop!) ran some other errands to make the most of no child & a bus pass then came home. 5 minutes after starting the job the toilet is working better than ever! :D:money: Cheaper than a plumber and easier than getting my landlady involved ;)

This evening I've washed all the dishes, done 2 wash loads, tided up and I'm just about to seal up a parcel then head to bed. Not much flying happening here but lots of bits and pieces getting done ;)

Tomorrow I have paid stuff, and DD will be home around lunchtime so I'll have to get a proper wriggle on to get it finished in time. Hoping I'll get the laundry finished tomorrow afternoon as there's loads to do!

Best go get this parcel done and get myself to bed.

Evening! Flying didn't really happen today :o I was invited to a BBQ at a work colleagues - left home at 11 and returned at nearly 6!. Lovely day but longer than I was expecting. I was shattered when I got back, not least because I was stuffed!!!

Piggers - we're all ok that were going to York but other things have cropped up and the weather forecast is awful. Maybe we can try to do the autumn meet on a Sunday. That worked before.

Or in half term? Then I (and any others who fancy travelling up) could spend a day or 2 up north and come to the meet :D

Also, anyone fancy a London meet (could include the National Archives) later this month? If so, I need to know any dates people CAN'T do asap so I can sort something. I need to go to NA as I have recently discovered some War Crimes files relating to my Grandfather's death that are now unsealed!

Going to update my list and aim for several HHCs tomorrow p.m. after I'm back from my meeting!

DW on its second run today. I need to vacuum up lots of crumbs.

You see that front door...??? ... THAT has been a frog for the last 9 years!!!!! It needs sanding, filling and painting and I haven't done it!!! Do you know why??????? I cannot decide what colour to paint it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Navy blue. I have never wanted a wooden door until I drove past one that had just been painted and it looked brilliant.

We and our neighbours had our front doors replaced 5 years ago. Ours was carp white plastic and theirs was green falling apart wood. We decided that as we were both needing them done and they are about 6" apart, we would get the same. We both had the same front door put in and NN (wife obviously!) and I between us, decided on the colour of the doors (black) and the paintwork of the sandstone around the grey stone (cream- yellow looked bluergh!).

Have only done washing and basic cleaning.
DH was still awake at 4 am so I decided I had better stay up to ensure he gets up for work this morning. I'm back on nights tonight and DD is next door in the garden. DS is on scout camp.

I have had a ciggy :(. First half of one in 4.5 weeks. :(.

Morning all. Feeling a bit bleurgh this morning, think it may be the antibiotics. Anyway, I have the day off work so may just potter.

I'll think about some dates during half term (when is half term?) and try to sort out another meet in York. Am still thinking Castle Museum (ticket for 2 museums is £10 for adults, lasts a year, children free) and maybe bring packed lunches to keep costs down for everyone? After all this is MSE!

Right, bit more browsing then maybe try some breakfast. Need to take another tab.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all :)

Swimming each day is tiring my little ones out :) Was very unimpressed yesterday though when I got back with them at 11.20 to find both teenagers still in bed :( Looks like at least one may need to get up before I go today, though - I ordered a new phone yesterday and it's being delivered by 10.15 - and I will be leaving here approx. 9.30. (Currently have iphone 4 which I've had for over 3 years and am going back to a Samsung. Got more data allowance and unltd texts and minutes for £10/ mth less than I'm currently paying (and no handset cost) - with same provider. They offered me a deal costing 2/mth more than my existing one, but I said there was an online deal for new customers which I liked so they matched that - which was good. Because I just renewed my contract I couldn't get any cashback but that was worth it for the hassle of changing numbers about. Ideally I wanted to keep my provider anyway, as they have the best coverage in my house - we seem to be in a dead zone for most other networks):T
