No news yet. OH is on holiday so very little we can do anyway. He's been doing all the communicating regarding the purchase because he can use his phone throughout the day, while mine is in my locker at work. I'm busy writing lists and sorting out all the junk I've collected over the years!
I'm still really tired, but I'm hoping a fairly early night will sort me out! I'm having a fairly lazy evening and in doing so have discovered one of my favourite authors is doing a book tour in November and is coming quite close to home
Just hoping my mum will agree to come with me and have a night away from her laptop! NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3

I've had a lovely day today, though not as productive as I would have hoped. School has been closed so I did some baking this morning and went to visit my last school. I thought I might be there for about half an hour...2 hours later I was leaving to do my necessary shopping and the children were practically begging me to stay for their Eid party. Nice to know I've been missed!
I've closed 2 unused bank accounts meaning I'll now have less people to notify once we move house, but also gained £7 that was just sitting doing nothing. My brother has paid me some money he owed me and I've bought some essentials for school (and some lunch!) I've also reluctantly cancelled my Ancestry membership because I just don't have the time at the moment to do anything with it. I can always restart it in the holidays and it's money saved monthly as well.
Cubs tonight then the weekend can start properly...though I'll still have planning to do for next week because I didn't get it done today!NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3

Good news on the bank accounts! Reminds me I think Lloyds still have a couple of savings accounts open for me. Nothing in sadly as the rates are rubbish!
Keep plodding on, every little helps!! And how lovely to see your 'old' children...

Today has been good (well productive anyway). Despite being full of cold and wanting to do nothing but sleep I have sorted many things (though need to be ruthless in getting rid of things) and feel like i know a lot more about where my things are tonight! OH has got back from holiday tonight and I'm eagerly waiting to see him tomorrow. We've texted and chatter briefly. But i always miss himwhen he's away with photography mates. Even more so this time while we're mid house purchase!
I have also cried watching Casualty tonight and don't think I can bear to watch next week despite not being an avid fan for many years now. I see the odd episode but as OHs mum watches every week but I was in huge shock and slightly heartbroken by tonight's episode.
I don't know if that's the reason but I'm also feeling quite nostalgic and after my BF from school commented on my FB status I'm keen to meet up with her again. I've been thinking for a while it's been way too long and we both have so much news! We follow each others' lives on FB but haven't seen eachother in years and I do feel very much to blame as I'm hopeless at keeping in touch.
I should stop rambling and go to sleep and make plans to meet up with old friends very soon!NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3

I am procrastinating this evening. A million things to do to get ahead of myself before the weekend but I'm finding writing on 23 ICT pictures a bit monotonous at the minute!
My brother gets married on Saturday and my room is being taking over by ushers on Friday night
This means a mass clean up is required and it'll still look a mess because it's piled with boxes as I refuse to put everything away when we'll hopefully (though it's looking less likely) be moving before Christmas!! (I will be at the venue with the bridesmaids not having to share!)
i spent last night sorting out assessment data and tonight has been spent shopping (not for everything I wanted but as Meatloaf sang...2 out of 3 ain't bad!) and now I'm writing up observations and on these computer pictures - the exciting life of an early years' teacher!!
In igloo news, things are getting frustrating. Requests for further information came on Friday meaning a mad rush to sort a copy of my old contract and get it to the necessary people. Hopefully that will be all they need now. My pile of papers has been filed away and I don't want to have to go through it all yet again!! They surely can't be that far away from making a decision. We were told it *should* come within 14 days from the application. But with this latest request will be longer and there hasn't been a valuation date set yet. OH has invited parents and other VIPs over for Christmas dinner if we have got in by then...so here's hoping!! We know we'll be lacking in furniture and have planned to borrow folding chairs and tables so there is somewhere for everyone to sit if necessary! I just want some idea of when/if it's going to happen. OH is still very positive. I refuse to believe it's going to happen until someone puts a key in my hand. We've been trying to sort our own place out since February. I'm getting more frustrated waiting as each day passes and I don't know how I'd feel if it all went wrong again!
I should get back to these pictures. But I'd much rather go to sleep!!NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3

What an amazing day we had yesterday! My brother is now married and heading to bed before disappearing on honeymoon tomorrow. It was a long day though! We were up at 6 getting ready to do our bridesmaid duties, and the night do didn't end until half past midnight! Then it took nearly an hour to sort myself for bed taking out hairgrips and washing out hairspray!!
It was all worth it though! We all had a good cry at various points...the bridesmaids were all more tearful than the bride who looked stunning
My brother had written her a letter yesterday morning to read which we all cried over and she just laughed. She held it together until her dad came in, and they were both teary saying their vows (my brother and S-i-l)
Now I'm back to earth with a bump...supposed to be planning for next week but struggling to get my brain to work after an afternoon of helping the bride and groom get everything home and sorted and having more than one nap!NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3

It's been a mad couple of weeks but I'm back! For now at least! Though I'm sure half term is meant to be a time to catch up with myself, having been away I'm still stuck doing all my work at the weekend! It's been more productive than I expected it to and I've only got Messy and maths (for 2 groups) to get done for Monday. I'll have some to do on Monday night but that'll only be one lesson of each...I make it sound so easy!! haha!
We've had a lovely week away staying with OH's mum and her partner in the caravan, though I'd hoped we'd get more alone time! We've had brisk walks along the cliff tops and were surprised it was warm enough to be coatless on the beach...it was warmer than on the same stretch of beach in July!
There was also good igloo news. Our mortgage application has been sorted finally and we're just waiting for the official confirmation that they'll lend us what we need
We might FINALLY be getting somewhere!
Looking forward to giving up work for the evening once Doctor Who comes on later, but for now I guess I should stop procrastinating and crack on with the planning or it'll still be to do tomorrow!NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3

What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash. (L Ellis)0 -
Thanks Nintud
I'm so excited now I actually cannot wait! OH has been busy sorting out some of his stuff so it's not all a rush at the last minute and I'm plodding along getting a few bits sorted here and there. I just feel things are a mess at the moment and wish I had another week off just to sort some things out!
I do however feel nice and organised for school as all my planning is done (except one short bit) for next week! So I'm having an early night with one of my favourite TV shows for company!NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3

Things are progressing quickly now...we had a pile of papers to read and sign last weekend and got those sent off on Monday. We sent up an account to put money into for mortgage payments, fees and bills so we know we've got the money ready when we need it. And the people above our vendors in the chain are putting pressure on to complete by Christmas. So it's getting close hopefully!!
Before all that though, I have to teach and rehearse the nativity, get through a long couple of nights at work, and maybe get a little shopping done for some big festival happening soon!! Somehow I am managing to stay fairly organised...don't want to speak to soon though!
Will try not to be so long again before I pop back and update again!!NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3
