I got a couple of little jobs done but nothing major. OH turned up early so we drove down to his mum's. She lives close to Yorkshire Wildlife Park so we went to meet the new polar bear yesterday. 338 photos later (not just of Victor) we both have a healthy summery glow. Unfortunately my camera has a fault
it keeps switching off and telling me to recharge the battery...even though it's still fully charged. Trawling the internet it's a common fault on these cameras that the manufacturer can't fix
Was quite impressed with myself while we eye there...only spend was the entrance fee
so not really a spendy day.
Heading to the outlet village on the way home as I NEED new trainers (my current ones have a leak) and wouldn't mind a new swimming costume as we intend to go swimming regularly (2 mor Aqua Zumba sessions before back to school)
Enjoy the bank holiday everyone

That sounds like a lovely day out. Was the new polar bear a cub?
Hope you got some stunning trainers. The chlorine in our apartment pool ate our costumes so I now need to get a new one before I start the Aspire sponsored swim next month.MBNA 237.47/13997.47

It was fab thanks Nintud The weather was lovely and we had a great day. The polar bear is pretty old. He's fathered 10cubs in Holland before coming to England (the only one in the country at the moment) he was pretty huge!
Sadly didn't get any trainers
the queue off the motorway was ridiculous so we decided against stopping. We did stop closer to home to get a new swimming costume though so it wasn't entirely in vain. It did mean it wasn't a NSD though.

Glad you had a lovely holiday Penguins!
Yes three days will be fine, it always is. I keep doing little bits and pieces but nothing significant! (enough to stop the panic setting in! )Paying it all off in 2017:

Whoops where have I been! It's been a busy few days, but I don't know why i haven't popped in here!! There I was saying I'd try post every day and I've abandoned myself already!
Thursday was a lovely day in London. We saw the poppies at the Tower of London and went for lunch and drinks. It was a long day though. I left the house before 7 and didn't get home until gone 9. It wasn't too spendy a day either as the only travel I had to pay for was my bus fare to the train station and back. I borrowed my dad's Oyster card and OH booked the train tickets using points he earns through work.
Friday was supposed to be a sorting out sort of day. But I didn't get very far. Instead getting distracted by DVDs and going to a Pampered Chef party, where I spent more than I'd intended - having not thought I'd buy anything! It was good fun though and we all laughed til we cried when a huge ginger tom cat tried to join the party! Oh now I remember...I went to the Building Society to move more money into my savings account. I set up a standing order ages ago and didn't want to leave myself short, but I'm now going to add more money to that order to increase my saving s more quickly (ready for buying a house!)
On Saturday I learned why some men complain when dragged shopping! OH wanted a new suit so we went to look. He ummed and ahhed over many thinking several times that he'd found the one...before finding the next 'one' in the next shop. Fortunately he decided on the last one he tried rather than going back anywhere to check his decision!
And today has been the first day in my new job. Mainly a day in the classroom to get ready for the arrival of children tomorrow! I'm nervous all over again about that! So it must be time to pretend I'll get a good night's sleep (like last night!) I think I've rambled on long enough!!NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3

Sounds like a very busy week for you hence why you haven't posted as such. I have been the same!
My mum has bought herself a poppy from the TofL display. I really want to go and see it!
Well done on the S/O and upping your savings. I find my phone apps invaluable for that. Reminds me I need to move £600 back from one account to another.
Hope that you do get a good nights sleep but I know just what you mean without the added stress of a new job! I struggled to sleep for 2 nights last week after going back from an 11 day break. Firstly the night before, then the night after I went back. I hate time off, it upsets all my clocks!!
Nanight x
