I should be going too, I think/hope mine are in all day tomorrow, with that list I NEED them to be, been warned they have LOADS of stuff to bring home inc my sons model which has been displayed for the last few months in the entrance as they thought it was the best, might be best taking the car down as last year I did and ended up with things that dozens of kids couldn't carry dropping it all off.
Night night everyone. One day I might be more organised...........

Evening everyone
Very little flying done today but I have made 32 muffins to give to DS's teacher/class tomorrow, took blinkin ages as my baking tray only takes 6 at a time!!
Visited sis and new baby-weight amendment he's actually 10lb13oz!! He is feeding like a little piggy, sis is shattered!!
Know what you mean about lunch money prices, DS is on packed lunch phase at the moment but he goes to breakfast club and now DD is starting mornings at pre school she'll want to go with him, that will cost 5 pounds a week! They don't want to go for the toast, it's to play games etc. before starting school! and they always have breakfast before they go anyway!
Hope you've all had a good day and happy flying tomorrow:j

Morning all
Denise you are not hopeless, it's me that holds that medalI never seem to get a fraction done of what everyone else does. And having visitors means you can't fly plus taking Arsha to the vet I think you did well to get anything done today.
Well it's Friday, nothing still done here and a long day at work for me. Might have to take Nannie up on the offer to watch the kids while I finish packing as we aregoing to have to be up at 4am  on Sunday morning. So only 1 1/2 sleeps to go
Have a good day everyone.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Good morning everyone,
How did it get to be Friday already? For those of you who are breaking up today - I hope it goes ok and you are ready for the mayhem of the summer holidays. Here's hoping the weather improves for at least some of it.
I didn't get much chance to come on-line yesterday as I was tied up the computer doing stuff for my new job. I'm pleased that I managed to get round to doing it though.
Michelle: I wish I hadn't read the definition of FLY - it's far to schmaltzy for me: we should try and come up with some alternative definitions.
Borderlakland: Well done on your DD for winning the award.
Galantvr4: I'm not surprised your sister is exhausted. I break out in a panic even thinking about such a big baby.
I had a pretty quiet day yesterday. The highlight was catching up with DHs cousin and husband for an hour in the evening (I managed to drop books and videos off at the charity shop on the way - so there is a bit less junk in the house). They were in town for a conference so we met up with them for a drink, which was fun.
I'm beginning to make in-roads on the paperwork - and the house is definitely seeing the benefit of all this attention. I'm just wondering how I'll cope when I'm back out all day - how do you other people manage?
Right yesterday's list:
Level One
[strike]Clean floors in these rooms (even if it is around the clutter)[/strike]
Level Two
[strike]Clean bath, toilet and sink[/strike]
[strike]Clear any clutter from desk[/strike]
Dust PC and desk gets done as part of Tuesday as desk is in hall
Wipe keyboard and mouse (these usually have more germs on than your toilet so important)
Level Three
[strike]Clear clutter from floor
Wipe down tiles in bathroom
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
[/strike]
Extra mission:
Pick whichever you want to attempt- Wash your bathroom mats saving it for next week prior to parental visit!
- Sort a wardrobe or part of, a drawer or set of drawers making sure it has what needs to be in it and any 'extras' are put where they should be.
- 15 minutes paperwork sorting!
Today shouldn't be too bad as the spare room hasn't been used for a couple of weeks. I'll give it a once over though in preparpation for mum and dad's arrival next week. Then I'll concentrate on the clutter which is at least hidden in drawers - but there's not much room for any more!
Have a good Friday everyone, and I hope you get chance to chill at some point today.
7WW0 -
Phone calls made (DS1 will have to start new school without uniform as it's not arrived yet), boys to school (even if DS1 did leg it) collected stuff from school for charity shop which I'll be going to after breakfast, doing some cheesey scrambled egg on toast
dogs sorted. PC room cleared ready for cupboard to go in. That's about it so far. Sports day cancelled due to weather which to be honest is a bit of a relief as one less thing to do. Also puts hold on laundry as won't be able to get it dry. Right best go finish scrambled eggs before they burn!
Oh and DPs spotted that the F1 car will be in the Gate in Durham today so might end up there aswell. One day I might be more organised...........
