    Morning Denise, have a hug:grouphug:

I just popped on briefly to read last nights posts - you lot don't half stay up late! Welcome to the thread Silverbabe, keep flinging!

Didn't get The Floor Which is Threatening To Take Over My Life finished but I will tonight. And since its bathroom day I won't feel guilty about giving it my all and getting the job done. I may even re-seal the bath; It gets really black round the shower bit but it seems to be mould from below rather than on top and needs doing a couple of times a year. PITA..

Hope you all have a good day. Something tells me it's going to be quiet on here again, have a fab last day of term all those doing kids stuff. And brace yourselves for the next six weeks!

    Hi all

I've hardly been around this week but don't seem to have done that much flying either.

Tuesday I went with my friend to the suppliers and then in the afternoon she watched/collected the kids from school for me so I could start packing our cases. Piles of pants, t shirts and shorts all over x 3!! Yesterday my sis called round for coffee in the morning and then aunt arrived at lunch time. Then swimming lesson for DS in the afternoon and dinner at mum and dads.

And now it's Thursday already  work today and tomorrow so that just leaves Saturday to finish up before we go at some unearthly hour on Sunday. Oh and on Saturday it's swimming lesson for DD and a visit to Nannie and Grandad (although I might drop them off for a couple of hours and pop back home to get some stuff done)

Me thinks some stuff is going to have to get done before bellringing tonight and after the kids go to bed tomorrow.

Ah well, happy flying all, hugs to those that need them and good luck one and all ;)

I feel shockingly tired again today cos DH's alarm went off at 6:45. That is a later time than when i will be back at work. Thankfully we don't have to go anywhere in particular today.

I should be going to one of my work colleagues retirement do's after school, but it is in the centre of doncaster after school, and that is charlie's tea and bath time, and i might be being anti-social, but as we will be going to the school end of term bash tomorrow, i'd rather save my energy for that and see everyone who is leaving at once. It is a low energy time for both of us where we sit and i play with him and get cuddles, so i am opting out.

Might require a 2nd cup of tea before i even have motivation to get ready.

The sun is currently shining, so i may take charlie out for a walk this morning and try and naturally boost my energy levels as i am fed up of feeling tired all the time, and the caffeine is no good for me.

Hope the rest of you are feeling OK this morning.

    Michelle, x

not going to manage to do the proper list but i'll post what i've done later. hopefully a bit in the lounge, bathroom, bedroom and study. have tidied out the kitchen cupboard that desperately needed it and listed a food processor on freecycle. might get the motivation to list a once-used juicer too...

    Hiya
I'm about to have a quick 15 minute fly before I start work. I've finally managed to get through to the local college so i'm doing another evening course in September. This is the last one I need to do so i'm looking forward to it. I've done all the gifts and letters for school - both of my children's teachers are leaving so it's quite sad as they've both been fantastic to my two. The house is as tidy as a house with no carpets can look! The new flooring is stacked in the dining room but no idea when DH will do it as he's away Monday to Friday. At least it will look fabulous when finished. I must try to work out how to put piccies on here and i'll show a before and after picture. Have a great day everyone xx

Mattress vacuuming - like every task it's not a must do, entirely up to you if you choose to, it's recommended on many pest control sites to prevent bed bugs, when Moggins did the weekly thread someone asked why and she posted a pic of them and the advice on vacuuming mattresses, it definately made me do mine. Just google 'bed bugs' urgh! My son had asthma, used to be worse on a night, maybe just coincidence but he's not had a single attack at night since I started doing his.[/quote]
Thansk for this lil-me. House dust mites!! Have only one very slightly asthmatic child(out of 4) but can see that vaccuming at least when I flip the matresses woudl be a good start.

Hope you feel better soon lil_me - you have had a rough time.

DS3 took in cards to teacher from me today.,I had to take in forgotten lunch box for DD and saw her(teacher not DD) at reception. SHe was so pleased and said it almost made her cry! DD taken in card hand made by her and Terry;'s chocolate orange (his favourite apparently). Sent cards in for DS1&2 as well as little body shop gift boxes (bought in sale). Clearly well worth it!

Another night of no sleep, DS2 is going through another 'stiff' phase meaning he is up during the night with his right side stiff. So he is clumsy and crabby when he is awake, and I am crabby and sicky with no sleep.

luckily, living room, kitchen, hall, bathroom are all nice and tidy. So my list for today is...

    [strike]Tidy paperwork on PC desk[/strike]
Bake cake (well try) for Hubby's birthday tomorrow.
Get this top I am wearing washed and dried for tomorrow.

And my list if stuff to be done is...

ironing, lots and lots of it.
    Bedrooms
clean old car and SELL old car - its pouring out though.

So I can do this paperwork while sitting here with coffee....

Did someone on here have a recipe for breakfast muffins using porrage oats? Tried to find it.

Or a flapjack recipe without syrup (I have none)

    Cheers!
