Bananas going a bit black?

As I am forever telling my kids just- because the skins are brown doesn't mean the insides are brown! They don't listen though.
I too have about 6 brown bananas. Banana bread, muffins and cake are delicious but I'm going for my favourite quick and easy pud, bananas in cream.
Slice bananas into a bowl, throw in a handful of sultanas or raisins and about a tablespoon of brown sugar, soft, dark brown is best but any brown sugar will do.
Whip half a pint of cream and fold it into the bananas.
At this time of the year I have mincemeat leftover so I think I may sub mincemeat for the dried fruit and the sugar.0 -
Sliced bananas and butterscotch Angel Delight with a small blob of whipped cream
Felines are my favourite

Don't forget, you can freeze elderly bananas in their skins if you're planning to use them for cooking at a future date.

I always freeze brown bananas, but peel them first. I know people have differing views on this, so freeze some with their skins on and others peeled, then see which is easier to use.

if you freeze them without skins, when they come out, dip in some melted chocolate and eat like an ice lolly. YUM!0
