Bananas going a bit black?

You can freeze bananas still in the peel .They'll last ages in the freezer, then pull them out when you want to make banana muffins, bread, or cake. They thaw into a great mash for baking. The browner the banana, the better the flavour in breads and muffins!Debt at highest 01/01/2008- $79,385.32

Ohhh I can't resist very ripe bananas. That's when they are at their tastiest. I tend to buy them only when they are beginning to be mottled, and then only two at a time or I'd eat the lot.

A great use for bananas: blend two of them with a large pot of single cream and a large measure of brandy. Put in fridge to chill and then serve as dessert.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
I have a nice recipe for bobotie (South African moussaka-type mince dish) that has bananas in...sounds weird but it's yummy! i can post it if you're interested0
