Good morning!!
Does ne one know if f&f (tesco) boys shoes last , I always buy Clark's and always get a year out of them, so was wondering if tesco shoes are ne good? My son doesn't play football, so don't have that problem.? Just thinking about saving money!!
Thanks
We have got through A shoes this year as Clarks at £30+ are expensive. But they don't last long so may be false economy (or just particularly active boys! We did get them replaced twice by A under their guarantee). We have found though that Clarks are in many of the outlet places so even though they come in around £25, they are still cheaper than the main stores. Also keep your eyes open for the online and instore Clarks sales as they do offer significant reductions if you get your timing right.
Because kids feet grow at different speeds, we have also picked up some really good condition Clarks shoes on eBay for a fraction of the price (some almost new/never worn).
Of course to do this, we regularly take up Clarks' free measuring service just to be sure of sizes.

I used to live up the road from Geoff S, a member of The Settlers, they never made it that big but he did have The Strawbs visit him on a regular basis.

Then again, maybe he needs for payday to come round and for everything to be accounted for to make him realise what he is doing.
Either way, you cannot know what is in his mind, why he is doing this.
If he has nothing else why not have a little fun!
I suppose in his head he thinks as he has his ISA and his regular savings (or at least for the moment) the future its taken care of so he can spend what he likes and how he likes.
Next years ISA will be funded by whatever has built up in his regular savings which will be nothing at this rate. I have said this to him in yesterdays message but I don't think this bit has sunk in yet. it probably wont until about the start of November.
Then it will be a case of he needs to do two things - see if he can live on less and so put more money into his UK account - not likely.
And also take money back out of the regular savings to top up the current account and make sure the credit card bill gets paid in full.
Anyway today sometime he will be stuck in Vienna airport for most of the day so hopefully he will message me when he finds the wi fi.
He has only got this travel bug this summer. Before this he used to come back to the UK on a regular basis to hang around with his mates and that was about it.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Fairclaire big hugs to you, I think you are amazing. You are allowed a vent we are all here for you with our ears.
Mrs Stinkface sorry to hear little stink not well today.

I had solo and joint at N'Wide, and it still let me have another solo. Didn't know there was a max allowance.
well I've done it - its let me open another Flexaccount and I have an account number and sort code.
Just have to figure out the Halifax rules and regs now - can I switch even at this stage without any paperwork or plastic card?
This Halifax one I need to put £1 k in each month and I can then remove it straight away and keep the £5 a month bonus?
Mind you not a lot will be done today, next door has the builder in yet again tapping on the living room wall, sounds like yet more plaster coming off so I wont be on the computer for long. The garden is full of fencing panels and boards etc so I cant even escape outside“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Morning all.
Happy birthday logie and aau1 :bdaycake:
Had to do a quick catch up so not sure if anyone else has tried the Dettol wipes DeeDee mentioned yesterday. I picked up a c&c this morning and it's looking good - into basket at £3, paid £1.50. APG not in yet, but msm shows them as £1.50 at W and £1.49 at M. Off to airport now but will try to check again later.
Have a great weekend all0 -
