Happy birthday Aau. Hope it's a good one x

Lil stink has woken up with a stinker of a cold, he's just sneezed 7 times in a row (and got snot all over Mr stinks iPad ) lol.
Was planning on going to dinosaur adventureland tomorrow, Sod's law isn't it, will have to see how he feels in the morning.

FC - just wanted to say that I think you are awesome, you have so much going on in your life yet you are always here with sage advice for everyone else. I don't have any advice to give you, I'm guessing you know more than most professionals. So can I just send you a hug instead x
CJJ- big hugs to you too hunny x
    Oh oh oh!!

I forgot about my claim to fame from yesterday!

It's not gonna beat supermarket sweep right enough....

but I did make coffee for.....

The radio 2 legend that is Ken Bruce  :D :rotfl:

I served David Baddiel and Rory McGrath back when I was a checkout chick. Rory was lovely but his missus is a bit of a cow lol.
    :D :T

I do confess to also being a bit of a weirdo back at school as well :o:cool:
Lots of black, band tshirts, fish net tops and big chunky boots :D I do still have my boots actually, I blinkin love those things like those only longer and with a couple more buckles  :rotfl::rotfl:

I've always fancied a pair of Docs right enough, but that's what OH lives in so would be kinda weird to go out with matching footwear, I don't think we're quite at that stage yet :rotfl:

I was defo not one of the cool kids at school, I went though a stage of dyeing my hair every colour going. I kept purple for ages though, it looked like someone had dropped half a ton of grapes on my head. :D

    Happy birthday Logie and Auu.

Wendyak sounds like you having a bit of a rough start to your day. Hope your hubby's op goes well. Big hugs to you and hope your day gets better.

Helen4891 I always buy Clarks shoes now, they always last the full school year. The only time I decided to buy cheap shoes , I ended up buying over 4 pairs in the school year. So ended up more than the £40 outlay for Clarks.

    Off to Morri soon.

    Have a good day everyone

Hi, hope your feeling better. :)

I don't think the whether knows what it's doing at the moment.
Sun is now out but black clouds are on their way.
I'm not going out as was working last nigh but O/H is meant to be digging out the concrete of our old fence posts ready to put the new ones in today, so hope the rain holds off.

hope all are well and managing with the difficulties of life and family, hugs to you all.
A quick question....do you think Aspergers and autism is inherent as I have said this to "specialists" and they get quite uppity about it, to the extent that I generally don't mention anything now.
Its just that my father had "problems" over sixty years ago but found his niche (and a good woman) and is "quite" stable now.
I have a brother that was label hyperactive but as an adult was dismissed from some great jobs for strange behaviour.
MY ds2 was on Ritalin at one stage and went to the only specialist at the time who did a clinic for this sort of thing (but was never given a diagnosis in words or paper).
Sorry for the ramblings but I still haven't got to the point.....my OH is having an op today and keeps telling the dog that he will die and other niceties.
I married him because he was exciting and interesting but he is more than a challenge and I wonder if I saw in him similarities that I had grown up with....don't get me wrong we have had a marvellous life but many friends have fallen along the way as he can be very wearing.
Sorry for the rambling but he is due in hospital at 11 and has just gone off to work "just for a minute", the lunatic :(

There is both a genetic and environmental factor to it.

    Morning Everyone :)

Been MIA as went on holiday to [STRIKE]sunny[/STRIKE] Yorkshire! On the way home we stopped at a service station. Walking along the corridor to the loo someone had left two squares of loo roll on the floor. I didn't see them and my foot slipped and I went flying  Big bruise on my thigh and have hurt my wrist/thumb. Went to Minor Injuries yesterday and had it X-rayed, Fortunately nothing broken but they gave me a velcro support. Its just certain movements that hurt like putting the gearstick in reverse. Still, very relieved not to have broken anything.
