Happy Birthday aau and logie :bdaycake::bdaycake:

Hope you both have a great day x

    Good morning Elite :hello:

Sunny but breezy here in Suffolk. Just popped in quickly as off shopping with ds1 soon. He is a muggle shopper and will never change his ways  no matter how often I try to tell him, he says he hasn't time to .anny around going shop to shop , oh well his choice and he is the one missing out

On the subject of children's shoes, I have to say that although Clarkes can be expensive, they are well worth it as I always bought Clarkes for my boys and they lasted well. You can find them in sales often so saving a there. Also as someone mentioned eBay, it's surprising the number of people who have bought them and then put them en eBay, never been worn. So do look there too.

Sorry I didn't get back here last night, after Emmerdale I had a phone call, lasted an hour. Went to get a coffee and sat down with ipad to come on here and fell asleep  due to the swapping around of my meds, sorry.

Will have a quick scoot back and start a catch up whilst I wait for ds1 to arrive, then see you after lunch at some point ;)
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Are you with Lloyds Bank or TSB?

They are both separate banks now.

A Lloyds Classic account would probably be your best option.

If you request a switch for this account, then your other accounts won't be closed.

Although see the discussion above re: credit rating.

Also, I'd like to point out that we're all grown ups.

And it's a bit insulting to suggest that because we're asking questions, we're not then properly reading websites afterwards or looking at terms and conditions. :)

Does anyone know where I can get 20+ cheap stackable chairs within the next week (not me, OH suddenly decided badminton club need them for next weekend's visit by German exchange club!) please? Checked Ebay, too far for collection. Going to suggest stools from Argos but don't think they will be ideal!

Would prefer for them to be delivered!

Do they need to be brand new?
Could you ring around local church halls, ATC, scout huts etc and ask if you can hire some of theirs for a nice donation?
Freecycle or the local Freecycle cafe?
Do they have to be matching - you might get offers from a few places?

Morning all, just quick pop on to say a very Happy Birthday to aau :bdaycake:
I'm having a lovely little break away with my boys. Theme park yesterday, stayed in the Marriott last night, cake and prosecco for breakfast and now en route to the zoo :) Missing you all :(
Start 3 nights tomorrow so not likely to catch up any time soon but think of you all often x

Mostly we do our own research and make our own minds up as to weather something is suitable for us and at this point we just need confirmation that we have not missed a vital point in the rules and regs :)

thanks very much for this, sorry for all the questions though,

so have i got this right,,

i can open a CLASSIC account with Lloyds online and Deposit £752

Then i can switch to a Halifax CURRENT account online and open 2 tesco savings account with a DD from that account for £1 each

    I receive £100?

Transfer the £750 back to where it came from , and as long as i put £750 each month into the Halifax account, i will then also get £5 monthly bonus too?

Does it matter that i am switching a Classic account to a Current account?

Saintsburys have a free magazine in the foyer called
Live well for less issue 05
    Not the paid for one

Page 15 has a MOC valid until December 2014 for Blue Diamond almond breeze - interesting bit is that its for 50% off but looking at the bar code it should scan for 75p

Normally this would be fine but its on offer for £1 at the mo. If you get a nice till person they will just scan it and then your pack will be a very nice 25p after MOC :D

If you get a difficult till person they will make a huge fuss, read the rules and regs through carefully to work out why the MOC is not actually taking 50% off , hold the queue up, call a supervisor and then overrid the till and put the MOC through as a 50p MOC instead :(
