Morning All
Good news Kate that your physio is working. You might not be able to run again but you will soon be able to take some nice walks & still enjoy the fresh air, clear head & maybe even a sneaky listen to your own music.
Sorry to hear about the bunny Dozey. At least you have found some positives out of a sad situation.
And Nintud, I am jealous that you are on holiday. I'm especially jealous of the water slides.
My 3 positives for yesterday are:
1. Seeing DD2 run superfast in her cool new trainers. She really does believe they make her run faster & didn't take them off until bedtime.
2. Going in to town shopping with DD2 & listening to the shop assistant enjoying a conversation with DD2 about Disney Infinity characters. So many people are in too much of a hurry or just can't be bothered to be friendly, but this lady was so friendly & usually DD2 goes shy around new people, but she really enjoyed her chat with her 'new friend'.
3. Finding out that an old friend will soon be starting a new job close to where I live, which means I will hopefully get to see her more:T
So that's yesterdays positives. Lets get on with the day & hopefully find some sort of positive in everything we do (even VAT & CIS reconciliations :rotfl:)

Hi all
I have two days to account for, as I was out last night until midnight.... and on a school night  feel like a youngster again but am now contemplating what time is appropriate for bed (I am aiming for 8:30!).
So, yesterday:
* I completed a project at work and, I must say, was feeling very proud of my efforts
* Dinner out with some of our team from up North (we are down South) which was nice
* 1 free champagne cocktail (courtesy of the boss!!)
Today:
* Was dreading an awkward 'management' conversation with one of my team, but was much better than planned
* My library membership card today so I can officially join the world of borrowers!
* I had a productive day in the office
* Tomorrow is my day off!!

I forgot to post last night! I was caught up in the happiness

1. Finished all the new work ready to tie up some loose ends on my last day before a week and a half off.
2. Arranged a work-shadow placement I have wanted to do for ages but been too scared to ask for
3. Plucked up the backbone to write a calm yet angry letter to my previous bank
4. Discovered that by the 5th of the month I've achieved 4 NSDs already :j
5. DD1 had a cuppa waiting when I walked in the door
6. All children are back to full health and have been especially cuddly

Hi
Yesterday wasn't a very fun day but there are always positives, no matter how small. So my positives for yesterday are
1. I learnt some new things in work, always nice to learn new things.
2. I had a fairly relaxing evening as OH sorted the children's tea out so I just had to fend for myself & I didn't have any other housework that desperately needed doing.
3. A few more bits sold on Amazon so a few extra pennies to put in to savings

No cuppa waiting today but I was nearly knocked off my feet with cuddles when I got in. So here's my list

1. I'm on holiday! No (paid) work until 18th August!
2. I nabbed ANOTHER NSD.
3. It's sunny and warm again so pain has reduced.
4. Children are all well and happy.
5. I've already been home nearly an hour and have sorted the post pile so now I can relax with a book until I need to make dinner.
6. Ebay sale was paid for so I have an extra few £s

Good evening all!
Kate - Yay for being on leave (from work at least)! I suffer from severe back pain at times due to breaking 2 vertebrae a few years ago and find that swedish massage helps (is agony at the time but does alleviate it) - I do not know what your pain is but just putting it out there
I had my day off today (almost, 1 phone call and 2 texts from work - not too bad) and have been content and productive today:
Did my cheap week grocery shop, came in £1.90 over budget which is great for me
Having spent a lot of time watching diary and planner management videos on youtube, have changed the way I use my diary, filled it with info until the end Dec 2015 (its an 18 month diary) and even added some stickers to make it prettier
My spending diary is showing I have spent every day, but have not gone over my budget which is great!
Enjoy the rest of your evening all

Thanks for that, I broke my leg 15 months ago quote badly and I've had a lot of complications. I had another surgery at the beginning of May and I'm only just getting the benefits of it. Massage greatly helps me but I struggle to find the time (and cash) for it. Think I'll see what I can do during my time off though (Facebook selling pages here I come
) I went a few weeks ago and it helped massively, in fact I will make time for it.
So another positive for you - you've helped a "stranger" today

3positives today:
1. My little doggy has been diagnosed with diabetes insipidus, so at least we know whats wrong and medication will sort him right out! Set us back £180 but so so worth it!
2. Have shown a person around our house as a renter for when we move, they said they love it which is great!
3. Got to do work sat in the garden this afternoon which was lovely!
Happy hump day!
