Hi all, productive day at work for me today
then spent an hour working with my young horse who did really well! Been meaning to get an early night for weeks so I'm now off to bed with a hot water bottle, it's certainly getting chillier at night now. Hope everyone's well

Ehhhh such a fun day!
*I am still buzzing from being accepted for that card. It has been cancelled now and a cheque is winging its way to me.
*Had the heating on today which was cosy even if it was just to dry disastrous bedding issues from Jellytots nappy explosion overnight
* Lovely dinner knocked up from leftovers and still enough remains for tomorrow
* Stood up for myself and Him is yet again bringing a friend tomorrow but he is leaving before I get home from work!
* My back has been lovely. Not needed painkillers for the first time in weeks.
* Have raspberry jam doughnuts
and ben & jerrys ice cream... and this is why I am not in the grocery challenge :rotfl:
Night peeps. Good luck new girls. I am sure you will be fine. penguin, all your little cheebies are new too

Thank you for the good luck wishes! I'm settling in though still feel very much like the new girl! Had my induction meeting yesterday and the head said there are no stupid questions, only the ones I don't ask. I feel like I'm constantly asking at the moment though! But I'll soon pick it up!
Today's positives:
*I'm feeling tired but quite relaxed this evening. Lunch is made for tomorrow, planning is done and although I have a meeting to go to (all the way in the living room!) I can spend some time doing what I like (or tidying up up here!)
*I might actually get through most of my to do list today - and finish off bits I haven't done yet from other days
*The salad I made for lunch was actually pretty nice, despite the rice being a bit soggy!
*I have successfully made 2 batches of playdough, helped by groups of children and it wasn't a sticky gunky mess hurray!
*The children seem lovely so far, if a little lively.NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3

Hi all!!
Where has the time gone? I have just had 2 pages of positivity to catch up on! I am sorry for my absence my happy bunnies! I hope all the new girls are getting on well in their new jobs, and everyone is well and emotionally strong!
* I had my third ever migraine this week. Not a good thing necessarily, but has allowed me to start recognising the 'auras' so might enable me to start looking at triggers.
* I had a day off today and OH is much less jetlagged so we went to the beach and he bought me an ice cream!
* I've decided to up my positivity efforts on instagram with the 100 happy days project! Come join me if you use it!
* OH and I have been looking at some cheap holidays as we both have some time off!
* Dinner is cooking away and smells amazing. My culinary skills have developed beyond beans on toast.
Happy evening all xI have enough money for the rest of my life... as long as I never have to pay for anything again!

Hello guys!! Sunshine, sounds like a lovely week apart from the obvious. I most definitely feel your pain on migraines. I had two back-to-back for the first time in years in the last week. Mine last for 2-3 days, in a fog of not being able to stand without almost being sick, and blacking out the room I am in until things stop swimming as much. My triggers are overloading on cheese, hormones and emotional disorder. I have had all of these in spades recently.
Billie, glad you survived the first week. Soon it will be normal!! And Penguins, your head teacher sounds a very sage person. There is no such thing as a stupid question; however, there are such things as repeated questions. The most oft repeated should probably be written down along with the answer
Onto positives:
*Mystery shopping cheque arrived, and MIL banked it for me today
*BT refund back in my account this morning - straight to savings!
* Watched Thor 2 last night on the sofa curled up with Him and it was a very good film and a good night! Also free... actually technically I have been paid £10 to watch it thanks to Quidco!
*Him received a surprise phonecall from Beats headphones tonight. They had read a survey he filled out regarding the service he has received, and the lady on the phone had picked up his case, had a good read of the many issues he has had and even though he is out of the warranty on his original pair of earphones (replaced 3 times now) she would like to offer him a replacement, and once again upgrade the replacement (2nd upgrade!) so thats a 4th replacement, free of charge... He is super happy.
* I too am grasping this cooking malarkey, and better yet, cooking cheaply and buying ingredients rather than packet mixes etc!
* Work is done til Weds!
Have a lovely weekend guys!Total Debt: -£5,029.17/£11,220

Hellooooo, it's been a while! Positive vibes coming your way Billie.
First week back at work after summer hols. Sad to see the kids go back to school but making the best of it.
1. Ds4 started reception and there were no tears. He's enjoyed his first week and has made some new friends.
2, dd2 started college and loves her main teacher. Apparently he's very funny.
3. Dd1 started teacher training. The drive to college is as horrendous as she thought but she likes the people she works with so not all bad. This is her first placement. Hopefully her second placement will be closer to home.
4. My new students seem pleasant. A little chatty but I can make that stop if it becomes a problem. I prefer to chatty to shocked silence anyway!
5. Comedy club tonight. I can't wait!MBNA 430/14000

What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash. (L Ellis)0 -
My husband and I have a fabulous day yesterday, we had our 20 week scan and saw our beautiful baby! Shaking their fist at us, so I think they are going to be a handful!

We found out Its a girl. We're so over the moon, we have a son who's 3, but lost a little girl a few years ago in late pregnancy, so she is our little miracle
We also had a wonderful family summery tea last night, just the 3 of us, in a field surrounded but horses and sheep which DS loved and he was so well behaved ( for a change!). A wonderful day! XLiving as simply as we can
