Good Evening all!
After a wobbly week heres todays positives
**Mood has settled again and anxiety is at a low so spent some time out in the breezy sunshine while walking the long way home from work this afternoon and feel great for it
**meal planning has shown my next food shop will be tiny as I have enough in stores to cover this week
**DS had a fantastic day at school and brought the good feeling home with him
**enjoyed a lovely home cooked meal with mountains of veg (I didn't get to eat veg much due to fussy eaters but making a point to do some for me now and im not good when it comes to portion sizes)
**made the decision to ALWAYS buy veg and blanch/freeze in portions so I can at least have it when no one else does
So a great start to the week for me, I hope everyone else is happy and well!

Hello all...
BILLIE from 'Kent' sounds like you went to Dobbies in Ashford
love the butchers there, and the fresh produce... and the biscuits...! Haha!
Thanks for the well done Sunshine. I shot it to hell today as had friends coming to visit from back home on their way back from Belgium. Went and bought very MSE presents. (Half price in Mr S clothing & bibs, then an extra 25% off! Bought wrapping paper and far too much junk I shouldn't have on top, killing off my groceries and every other budget
then... they didn't even arrive. Too poorly
I knew I shouldn't have gone out in the rain!
So last couple of days
* Made 2 apple crumbles from scratch and they are lovely
free apples!
* Jellytot was taken out in her winter coat and wellygogs for a splash in the puddles today by her grandparents.
* Got bargains in Mr S for above friends baby due in Nov
* Realised that even with todays overspend, this months savings due to getting nursery deposit of £115 back and being super frugal with everything (most things), means I will save a whopping £1k this month!
* I am snuggled up in fresh bedsheets with a beaut cup of black tea and the leccy blanket on while the rain and wind rages outside.
Thank you for the thread... hope everyone has had a lovely bank hol monday!Total Debt: -£5,029.17/£11,220

Hello everyone

Sorry I've been absent. I brought an ear infection back from Cyprus and have since developed a stinking cold so have been feeling pretty sorry for myself.
Despite feeling rotten I have had some positivity;
1. Antibiotic drops are working
2. I've caught up with the laundry and put away most of our summer clothes.
3. I've started decluttering the house and can almost walk in the playroom :rotfl:
4. Dh bought me a lovely bunch of roses. I think he missed me!
5. I've done some batch cooking and now have chilli, bolognese and soup ready for when I go back to work next week.
I'm going to work on ds4's writing skills today. He starts school next week and still can't write his name. Hopefully we'll get that sorted with a little focus over the next few days.

What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash. (L Ellis)0 -
Hello guys!
Todays positives:
1. Jellytot enjoyed nursery so much she didn't want to come home and I remembered all of the stuff I had to ask for before she finishes for good tomorrow.
2. Baked 3 types of biscuit today, totalling 40 in all. Very lovely. Nice to bake, and a cheap thank you to the nursery staff!
3. Ironing done, showered and scrubbed with my special night cream on, in bed with a cuppa. Happy Lilt.

Liltdiddylilt you have guessed who I am. Do you live near to Dobbies?
First day at new job - okay although I felt like a fish out of water.
Today went in to old office to finish off bits and pieces and had lots more cuddles from colleagues not wanting me to leave!
Managed to get jewellery cleaner and have had fun this evening restoring jewellery back to its original colour!
Our anniversary so sharing a bottle of wine with OH.
The sunshine today - hoorah.
Hope you are all well xxx:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0 -
Ooh been a few hectic days so thought its best I catch up
**DS's ASN's at the school have been confirmed and due to all be in place by end of this week
**Work has been smooth sailing which is always good
**doubled up on my breathing and relaxation techniques in preparation for this mornings dentist appointment (Neighbours DD lending me her car so I don't have the travelling stress/anxiety to deal with on top of dentist freak out)
**killing 2 birds with 1 stone and will shop at Aldi/Lidl after Dentist appt instead of online shop with tesco this week so saving a bit on my grocery budget
**Managed to pull myself back from a surprise panic attack after getting jury service call up letter - reminds me I need to still make drs appt and find out if I am fit enough to do it while I am there
**DS discovered he likes cooking (thanks to Food Technology class in school) and presented me with a massive tub of home made coleslaw (although he refused to try some himself) tastes so good I have designated him as the "offical home made coleslaw maker" (bound to be cheaper making it than buying it right?)
**managed to get car hire for october 40 quid cheaper than originally quoted so the savings will be thrown into my newly founded emergency fund
Been great reading everyone positives! as usual I can't wait to read more!
Hope everyone is well

Good afternoon all
I have been absent in posting but have been reading everyone's comments, it is so nice to come back to happiness! Here's a few days of my hings:
* OH is home :T He has returned after 5 months in total away in the last 6 months, complete with laundry from what seems like the full period! I now have him back until November which is great!
* I have been paid (phew), although as of the 1st of the month it looks like I will be broke again!
* I have just been to see my elderly grandfather who recognised me and even managed to have a conversation, I am so grateful for these good days
* I went to give blood but they wouldn't have it. However, they haven't ruled me out for good so have an appointment in October to try again!
Have a good evening all
S xI have enough money for the rest of my life... as long as I never have to pay for anything again!

Hi all!!
Billie, what a small world! I live nearby indeed, not in Ashford, but a stones throw.
Sunshine, they never want my blood either. I try not to take it personally, it works fine for me
fab news about OH. Don't know how you do it!
Positives are few and far between at work today. It was dire, after a bad nights sleep we went the entire day with no work due to a huge internet outage across the country from 5:30 the night before. I sent myself a tester email to my personal email which got to me at 9pm so it is just fixed!
So...
* At least tomorrow the internet is back up and I can actually work instead of sitting bored out of my skull for 8 and a half hours!
* Jellytot put herself to bed perfectly for the 3rd night in a row
* I have homemade apple crumble and it is luscious!
* Him ('D'H) put his wedding ring back on this week for the first time in over 6 months... Life is moving forwards
* I have the new Ed Sheeran album
* Mums cancer op has been moved forward a week which makes me feel better!
* I have a beautiful family and adore every one of them.
There, tonnes of positives...

A lovely day today despite the necessary early start
*a quiet train to London this morning.
*spent some time with friends having lunch and drinks and looking at the poppies around the Tower of London
*didn't have to wait ages for bus back from the station meaning I've not had to hang around for long at all waiting for buses/trains at all today
*I'm now curled up watching Disney films
