"We all have 'off' days. When it's my 'off' day, I decide I'm only allowed that one day of wallowing in my own self misery, but also decide that tomorrow is a new day. I wake up with a fresh outlook and a spring in my step, ready to face whatever challenges life throws at me lol"

Thank you HeadaboveWater on Flying Solo Diary thread.

Although must admit had 48hrs of definitely being off  was definitely a bear with a real sore head both verbally and physically poor OH. I did in the end retire to bed.

Friday was definitely a better day, be it a plodding day.... And was definitely thinking about Spoons :)

Did though make 2 Marmalade Cakes.... For the Horticultural Show... First one burnt.... Wouldn't mind but I didn't really like it :rotfl:

Finished the day in front of the Last Leg which is always a good way of making me smile and counting blessings

Since moving to The Bramleys, we have developed a love off gardening.... And even have two raised beds in the local allotment.

Now I have always loved growing and baking things so can I secretly admit to my Diary that I am a bit miffed ;). That OH has taken over in the Domestic Goddess front :o.

I type this as he is cooking a mini full English, :T.

Well yesterday we entered the local horticultural society Autumn Show, me with my marmalade cake, OH with his beetroots and Sausage platt.

OH came first with his beetroots and second with his sausage platt:T. I came no where .

I drowned my sorrows with two cocktails at the newly revamped local  as OH kept grinning from ear to ear about his beetroots!

As this should be a MSE diary, I would like to note, we are enjoying our produce from the allotment and debating next years crops.

The two cocktails were during "happy hour" so were 2 for a £10 :beer:. ( just wont mention we ate there as well oh dear.... Rabbit and bacon pie so yummy).

OH had enjoyed his pints so put up with X factor, through the keyhole when we got back finished off with a good dose of Peter Kay. :rotfl:

Wish I didn't feel so low physically, as it makes the mental tasks much harder as well. Hah - I'd get through a disability benefits medical today (but would need a taxi to get there).

Thank you *Robin* on your Flying Solo Diary. This week is definitely one of those....

I am sitting here, with high fatigue levels after being out and about yesterday. Back is aching and struggling to maintain an upright position on a dinning room chair.

We are going out for a late afternoon roast with my Dad and then back for drinks with friends both for my birthday... But really all I feel like is curling up on the sofa with a book :(

beanielou what was that about having spoons in reserve

Have returned from a fab 2 days in a Posh B &B that I have wanted to stay in for over a decade :j:j:j:j

Tucked away in West Sussex are Pullman carriages where you can dream about posher journeys - Orient Express style :D

Having been born by the sea (Southend) I craved to see the sea yesterday and I did.... It was glorious weather and we just sat looking at the sea, and found a fab beach cafe for a light lunch.

We were going down the pub last night but ended up with a little picnic of beer, pork pie, crisps and mini baby bel... OH was rather pleased .

Well really I am stuffed and nothing fits, so after tonight (curry with godson). I am on strict rations.

Home by lunch time, been spending afternoon on admin chores.

So have updated my signature as I saw Sun Addicts post about 100 day challenge so I've paid of a small chunk day 1.

Thought I was doing really well, as the only thing I spent in the days away was food and drink. I resisted stopping off at the market town shops ( sewing and antiques). I was hoping to look for an antique head mannequin for a favourite hat. Was feeling really good about focusing on debt. Until......

I was setting up my birthday pressie a misfit shine a fitness and sleep monitor. Only to find the programme needs a more up to date iPhone or iPad :eek::eek:. I have smashed the front of my iPhone 4 and so OH sees me upgrading to a 5 as sensible .. But :eek: I see the price on Internet.

Also instead of cash from my Daddy I asked for a "surprise" pressie. Well I got some lovely expensive toiletries .... But do I need 5 different types of soap?

Need to chant I will only spend whatever is really necessary.....:rotfl:
