    :hello::j:j:j

The start of Today is how I wanted yesterday to be. I have already sorted my budget app - virtually all up to day, except joint credit cards, which hubbie has info on.

So I've updated my sig, with my personal debt ( for hubbies privacy not posting joint).

Started a SPC :T - I've always dreamed of sailing in to New York originally on the QE2 but now it would need to be QM2 - so I've decided that's my personal 50th birthday challenge.

Yesterday was a plodding day, and I need to remember I still got things done - washing, the crochet knee rug; reading, cleaned kitchen; put the belly pork into marinate......

What has really helped, our local opened yesterday after a major refit - and we went for a fab meal it looks great, food yummy, if we are not careful this will not be good for bank balance and waistline. First time in the time we have been here that it is decent.

Cleaners arrive soon... So need to do some tidy so they can clean.

    Mmm What Next?

    Just stopping by.....

Not the best day to day, fatigue levels rather high, had to cancel my coffee with a friend, and tonight I seem to have the sniffles

Felt rather sorry for myself ... Keep saying must pull myself together. I am though worried whether I will ever be able to get back to work. Then I remembered something in the Jane Lapatoire book - ME is cyclical. how you manage your cycles os of great importance. Waking up to one of those precious "good days" is like finding £100 in your pocket. I'll say. You want to make up for lost time. You want to go out and spend it all. You want to do everything you've been deprived of. This is a rare opportunity to get a lot done. So I do. Only more so. It says don 't.

So perhaps I over did it in the garden yesturday. :o

On the plus side, 2 x Casualty, 2 x Jo Nesbo audio book and 1 Deal or No Deal I have finished another granny square lap rug. So can alter my signature !

At the weekend we did a bottle audit, and DH turned his nose up at the blended whiskey ..., suggesting all that it was good for was hot toddies... I said to him that was not a reason for getting a cold... But it good :money: I will be having one tonight.

Enjoy the hot toddy, hope it does the trick! You'll sleep well if nothing else.

    Hi BM,

Have you looked at the "Spoon Theory" as a way of managing your fatigue? it is where you have so many spoons a day and you work out the "cost" of doing tasks in spoons to see what you have to fit in to the day!

Missy Hinge came home from school yesterday exhausted and in tears stating she had used all her spoons, forks and knives as well :rotfl:

I used to live by the spoon theory.
Let it slip a wee bit now though :(

beanielou I am intrigued.... I had heard about this theory before, from twitter but I must admit I had steered clear of it, as it has had had negative connotations i.e. poor me, I'm a spoonie, I can't do the things you can do.

However, actually using it in a positive way, if I thought about how many spoons I had each day and planned accordingly.... With one in reserve. Which to be honest as an OT this should be a piece of cake :rotfl:

So when you mean I use to do.... Is that what you mean.

Slipping is so easy isn't it, as there's so many things to do in life.

Lots of food for thought... Especially reading the next diary extract :o

    Thank you :)
