Missy Hinge is only allowed 2 pairs of orthotic boots a year also and then they are chargeable at £180 a pair  who ever made that rule obviously wasn't female, a teenage girl or a shoe lover :rotfl:

Keep up the good work BM  Save some spoons to actually enjoy all your hard work though :D

    Dear Beanielou and Mrs H

I once had a pair of orthotic shoes about 25 years ago tht were so heavy I couldn't get on with them.

Danny the man at the hospital is a star he's done purple velvet boots this year and currently has purple uggs :)

Typical of our current system not only should I have only two a year - but every 5 years I have to be re referred through GP and orthopaedic consultant to have them altered .... As if my right leg will grow or suddenly be able to heel and toe !!!!!!!!

However I am blessed with Danny who works magic x

Sitting here watching 24 hrs in A & E,waiting for my Christmas Cake to come out the oven :)

OH has made me a cuppa and cleaned up the kitchen :T:T

Although I have not finished either list I am 3/4 of the way through them.

Husband just said when is the red phone going to go off... And where have they fallen from! And yep it's another fall.

I have made small MSE :money: wins today.

    1. Made breadcrumbs from bread that OH would have put in the food recycling bin :T

    2. Have used up all the vegatables in the fridge before our veg box arrives tomorrow- have also menu planned and ordered the right veg, so nothing is left before going on our hols next week :)

    3. When I could find boy friendly birthday paper, wrapped with coloured paper, rather than putting on list to buy tomorrow

    4. Used more sultanas when found no raisins ( OH said oh yes there wasn't enough for my puddings as well!)

Really happy to hear from my diary friends.

Really excited that my new bathroom arrives tomorrow- will tell more tomorrow :):)

Even more excited that it's 9 more sleeps till I go to Southwold....my spiritual home

As Andy Pandy says it's time for bed.... Well when the cakes cooked

I do too :o My Fibro means I often struggle to lift my legs and end up sludging my feet or dragging them to the point i make holes in the soles:eek: I have invested in some walking books that are light weight and very sturdy, walking seems much easier and i am sludging a lot less but at £45 a pair in the sale I need them to last more than a month :rotfl:
