    Hi BM :)

Glad you had a lovely evening in the end. Also pleased to hear you sounding more upbeat. You sound like me in that you don't stay down for long. Actually replace that 'don't with won't - that's more like it! I always think of that song line "I get knocked down but I get up again".

    Onwards and upwards :)

    Dear Diary and Readers

Firstly I have not forgotten you :p

    For my record:

    Saturday

Took me a while to get going but got to the church Christmas fair just in time for raffle tickets - I won two entrance tickets for kempton Park Horse Racing which we love - OH has asked to go in January for a birthday treat so both :money: and :T :j

Then OH took me to lunch in the Walled Garden where my embroidery course was - showed him the tutors work that was for sae - not sure if he got the hint for Christmas

Friends for supper and they took us for a pint first - I had to have a quiet :rotfl: as they werein his new car - a sk@da - not his usual street cred but I thought he had done well.

OH had made yummy beef meatballs in Guinness and HM Farthings biscuits for cheese.

    Sunday

A quiet day - didn't get puddings or cake done....

    Monday

We were invited to Gunwharf Quays by my Dad - a premium retail outlet and we were very pleased with our haul.

Daddy bough me some purple U@@s with bows on the back, I had gazed at them in the Regent Street store. They were £40 off :money:

OH bought one Ted Baker and two Lacoste - all were half price :money: :j - birthday/Christmas pressies, he doesn't have to wear suits at work so these are smart office wear.

Two Christmas candles from the White Company and one for a pressie :T

A two colour eye shadow from Est!e Lauder - first eyeshadow this year to replace one that are making my eyes itch - purple :)

Finally Weird Fish - two tops under £20 and a fleece jackets reduced to £25 from £85 - looking for anew one for 6 months so pleased :money::money::money:

Dad bought us a yummy lunch, again rather :rotfl:, he was thinking cafe ( as he was going out to eat that night ) but his companion and us wanted a proper lunch so we ended up in a proper restaurant , I had a fab fish stew and daddy had mussels - he was happy ;)

OH who hates shopping said he would return....

    Tuesday

Up to London.... Mindfulness Massage then Oestopath .... Both were very painful, and I was told there was water retention.... First stop after treatment the health shop for nettle tea - haven't tried that yet !

I decided to hit Oxford Street after.... Haven't been for years ..... JL was such a disappointment especially the haberdashery dept .... I actually left spending nothing !

I will though admit I bought running shoes on my travels which is rather ironical as I can't run :rotfl::rotfl: there is method in my madness as they have been recommended as a great support and comfortable.

Both right foots ( the other my UGG ) is in a carrier waiting to be taken to surgical appliances at the hospital to have the alterations made ( raised as my leg is shorter )

Weds and Thurs was very quiet days following treatment ......

On the good news front I was paid for my osteopaths bookkeeping so I have contributed to the pot !

I have also sewn - 19 Christmas cards - Christmas trees and sequins....

Supper is about to be served so later I will catch up on today.....

    Hello dear diary and readers

    I'm back!

I've written this latest post several times in my head. It's fair to say I have had a very slow month, after the London Town trip to the Oestopath I really should have gone back as I wasn't right.... But didn't have enough mental and physical energy.

    So recapping.......

    Christmas Cards

I have written about 120! I have a large family :o. I have made about 71 which I am really chuffed with.... Used up odd and ends and have only bought one packet :T.

I love receiving cards and hearing news from those I love but don't see, and even if no news just the thought of them thinking of me when writing it, gives me a warm feeling. The nature of my list 2/3 elderly, there's a sadness about those no longer.

    Christmas Decorations

2 Christmas trees up and decorated - one is very MSE - a tree bought 30 years ago with decorations that are from 7 decades, again lovely warm feeling putting decorations on that my Grandma and Mum owned.

Second tree is real and had been sitting in our living room for over a week bear, now it's a silver and white feast :D

Most of my reindeers are in place ( I have at least a dozen some that are beautiful and others that sing and dance)

I have few more but need to stand on steps so better wait for OH not that he can either catch me or do it but at least he stops me being silly ;)

However fairy lights for front door is my next move ........

My Strictly break nearly over ... Was sad to see Jake go :(

Thanks Beanielou and PLMBL for stopping by.

Well operation Christmas lights was done in 5 mins to think last year I just couldn't find the oomph to do it.

Having sorted dining room .... Decided to focus on kitchen.

I peeled all the carrots and potatoes in the fridge and used some for supper and then have frozen mash potatoes and made delias carrot and tarragon soup.... Don't have any fresh tarragon but had tarragon jelly hoping this has worked.

Then made quick fish pie (using mary berry lemon and tyme sauce) oH nearly fainted ! There one portion left over and has been frozen.

I'm cream crackered - operation Complete decorations went on hold after medicinal sherry and glass of vino!

Back to kitchen tomorrow - not looking forward to cleaning the fridge :rotfl:
