Evening and a Happy New Year to one and all
Had intended to write this earlier, however being with OH all day, we have been chilling with box sets ..... Firstly we got to the end of Brideshead Revisted and I was rather sad.
The two main people are in love but she as a catholic decides she cannot marry him as a) he's an agnostic and b) they are both divorced. C) she has sinned in the eyes of her Catholic faith.
As a Christian (not Catholic) I married an atheist, I felt it so sad that two people are left unhappy because of the rules of a faith. I believe my God is happy that I'm happy that I'm bringing love to another.
Then we have being watching House, which is quirky but I like it.
We were going out to dinner tonight but neither us wanted to budge, so stayed in and ate left overs
My first NSD this month - no mean feet considering both the pub and the shops are on our doorstep
Tomorrow is change over day for our accomodation, and the inlaws are visiting.
However I have a massage to look forward to first thing.
More serious ponderings when I'm in work mode rather than holiday .....As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Thank you SA & Mrs H
Well yesturday went better than expected. The massage was heavenly and I got 25% January discount :T:T
I kept repeating to myself that "I am good enough" and so Gettogether with in laws went better than expected.
We went down the pier, and had a fishy lunch, we split the bill, was reasonable. We haven't eaten out as much as we usually do when self catering. Having said that we went to the pub last night and am off again in a few minutes.
We moved accomodation yesturday and we are closer to our usual haunts. To be fair OH is going home tomorrow so a few pints of his favourite nector (bitter and we are going to the brewery pub! ) actually we are going to the one where Twiggi was spotted for the M & S adverts.
A few small spends today.
1. Marmalade and ketchup from the brewery shop and the former was on offer :T
2. Sausages and Eggs from the local butchers.
I resisted...... A biography in the bookshop about Edward VII - I have so many historial biographies on my bookshelf at home and it was a bargain "6.99" instead of £30!
I resisted going clothes shopping with OH ! But I am here for another 6 days I will need your help lol:o
We have sat and watched Mrs Minever this afternoon, an old war film, a favourite and DVD I bought with me.
as I read on slowdowns diary - Challenge 2015 ONE - I am working my way through what I have :T
Also on the last ball of about a dozen, the third scarf since I've been here.....
So Working my way through what I have.
DVD - 1
Balls of Wool - 12
OH is ready so I had better go and put my war paint on
OH goes after lunch - so it's laptop out and debt busting/business planning 5 days
