Well it has been slower but have achieved a few things and partly there on some.

Disappointingly only 2 things arrived re bathroom - text was misleading, but garage is clear hoping the rest will arrive soon.

Daddy arrived with fish and chips and had agreed to fund my bath aid to the tune of £350 which is a relief. Having a beautiful new bath and not being able yo use it was a concern. Daddy's are lovely.

Talking about his sister whose husband has dementia - she's managed to get 4 days respite and said to Dad she wanted to go away with her other sister. Both are in their early 80's so Daddy is taking them and although the they have contributed to the cost I think he has upgraded them, he will also play chauffeur etc, he is 80 next year.

I watched the first couple of hours of text Santa, with a bah humbug of a husband - the Downton bit was good, as was Celebrity :rotfl:. The stories of course sobering and we do count our blessings.

Tomorrow is doing bits locally and then to my god sons family for the annual movie night - the Lego movie he is 11 and his brother 7!

Really really need to think about finances !

Mummy's nick name for me....l she use to address letters to uni (pre email)

    Dear MM !

So I'm trying to break this habit.

Today in HC, an aisle floor I had to go down to get to the lift, was covered in products and no assistant in sight, real tripping hazard and I think subconsciously heightens nerves

I resisted the big urge to get the manager and suggest he had a health and safety issue.

I kept repeating to myself ignore and chill :rotfl::rotfl:. After negotiating safety

    Here ends first confession

You just don't realise until you're involved with someone who has mobility issues how many obstacles there are in shops. And just how awkward it is to get around. It's really opened my eyes.

After only 5 hrs sleep..... I have set too to make my home welcolming for my in laws.

It is fair to say I now dread these occasions as my PIL are hardwork and I think that they believe I am as mad as a hatter..... And I feel their disapproval.

They live 3 hrs away and we always have to host, my BIL will not invite them to stay, thay are 25mis from us.

Now we should be going ice skating - two wheelies BIL and SIL, niece and nephew, however when I went to get tickets yesterday the session we wanted was sold out

BIL was cool about it and we will give them the cash to go later in the hols, they declined lunch (to our relief) but suggested afternoon tea, OH and I have been busy bees he's currently making mince pies.

My PIL are not happy with my tardiness and have told me so......

I have a fixed smile, and keep repeating to myself grace, and remember this mornings sermon - generosity of spirit with a heap of patience !

Tea break over must get on

    Hello all

Thank you Beanielou for the positive vibes it helped.

Yesturday was a mixed bag..... We enjoyed seeing BIL and SIL niece and nephew and had happy times; for me I struggled with my PIL negativity and anger about family dynamics and situations. It presented itself in negativity about my actions :(. I was relieved when they went this morning. Except MIL parting sentence can we see you in Southwold next week  (they are an hour away)

I'm stuck my holiday is like a week in Tenerife and I want it inlaw free. But the other half of me doesn't want to be mean. I've left it to DH to decide. He is equally fed up!

I have very few spoons and Aunty Flo has finally arrived so the day has been spent doing very little.

Currently I have a Fifi on my lap..... She is very comforting.

It should have been a NSD but DH has just decided with all the jobs to do we can have pizza..... Oh well it's Christmas

Fifi has been ousted from my lap my big bro Gaston :o

Whatever my niggles with my inlaws .... We count our blessings that we are not those facing loss tonight, known or unknown x

Last night three friends have come together who have known each other for 25 years.

We had such fun, firstly we went skating - yes me too... We took our wheelies on the ice. It was fab, and we got carers discount and so was able to pass it on to our friends.

They then trooped back to ours for baked potatoes and toppings.... They all mucked in well the adults did, there was 5 teenagers, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 18. Us adults watched as they all got on.

It was a lovely feeling that I made it happen ... If I'm a little shattered today.
