Well with much huffing and puffing and foot stamping I did get my glad rags on. Raided me mothers gold ( necklace and bracelet ) plus her two rings and me grandmas and went dripping.
Poor OH he was still getting his ears bent on our way ... Our taxi was 15 mins late and then 2 couples pulled out and one partner didnt come so we found ourselves in a taxi for 8 with 3 and other half paid for it .
The evening was good, it was in the old house at Shepperton studios owned by the first general manager of Harrods. it's been used in films etc. everyone had made an effort and I think they raised a decent amount for the church fund.
Saved taxi fare home as friends who drove gave us a lift back.As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Morning diary and dear readers
Well.... I thought life was going swimmingly well.... And my body has stopped me in my tracks.
Today's diary was:
Morning - Church followed by a Sports massage
Late Afternoon - Swim
Early Evening - Hampton Court Palace book Club
Well I didn't get to Church at 10 O'Clock I was still in bed and hadn't had brekkie .... As OH said "the minds willing but the body's not " !
Well have had my massage ( he came to me )
I'm spaced ta ta for nowAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Well tears are streaming down my face ..... Listening to Chris Evans and his Children in Need auction
I'm here back at my desk.... After yesterday on the sofa and not archiving my list other then a massage.
I was taught whatever life throws at you to brush yourself down, walk tall and carry on. Today is definitely with a heavy heart. I keep telling myself to count my blessings but my current situation is like a wet blanket over my head.
On tues husband and I had a "heated" discussion about budget... I thought he was monitoring it, turns out his only concern was not letting us go in the red, and so overspending rather than clearing debts was happening
On the other hand I am going stir crazy at home and frustrated that our activities are being curtailed as, well I'm not earning.
I put my CV into a company I would really like to work for, and I have not heard anything, not even an email acknowledgement. I keep telling myself be patient and they may see your potential.... Rather than anticipating rejection.
I've had a few rejections of one sort or another this week, may be that's why I dreamed of being bullied last night. I was bullied a lot as a child/teenager/young adult.
Hmmm another dismal post... Apologies but its so good to be able to share. As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Definitely, keep getting it all off your chest. Sorry you are having such a carp week.
Maybe you could write a list of things that are upsetting you. Cross out anything that you can't change and then focus on the things you can.

Hello dear diary and readers
Life is certainly better after seeing other people and going out :T
So since posting last.
The man has come to sort my scooter and loading it into the boot of my car... So I can now drive it to Birmingham later in the month rather than OH big estate :T:T
The men who are going to do our bathroom came to mend the leaking roof and plan the bathroom, Art Decco, had great fun working out what we needs and looking for a :money::money: way to do it.
The Rector came for a cuppa, think it was a pastoral visit, as the reason he was originally coming (school governor vacancy) has been put on hold. It was good to just share about things.
Been to Pilates and had a good workout even with a dodgy hip.
Started to write my blog in the coffee shop .... Treated myself to a coffee and just enjoyed being with people. Resisted an egg sarnie and panettone ( cost & waistline).
Have come home made myself a salad for lunch.....
Mr O has arrived so can make the traditional children in need trifle ( pear and butterscotch) and all the ingredients for the Christmas pudding and cake baking this weekend.
Need to go and do some work ......As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or
