It's a great word, and I know exactly how you feel .....
I think to myself well maybe one day she will experience the same thing... But that's rather naughty .... I wouldn't wish me on anyone !As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Evening all
I have been writing posts in my head .... But not getting round to posting them.... I seem to have had rather a roller coaster week....
So where do I begin.....
Last Tuesday.... Up to the big smoke for a massage and many bodily clicks :T:T. .... I'm straight again for a while. Decided to buy a voucher for 5 massage sessions as then I get the 6th free :money:
Oestopath still mates rates so that's :money:
We decided to go and see a play in the evening, so having time to spare ended up in the Odeon Leicester Square. cinema 1 is very small about 50 seats so cosy, and I enjoyed The Hundred - Foot Journey which was excellent. Really would recommend. Was naughty and got a sandwich and crisps to munch but did have my flask of coffee.
I then decided to nip into the National Gallery and see one of my favourite pictures - Whistle Jacket by George Stubbs, I pretend the artist is family as my Grandpa was a George Stubbs
Then a hop skip and jump across St James Park to the theatre.
Now I did this all on my mobility scooter, thinking it was mild and damp I had various layers on including a waterproof poncho, but at 5ish it was not enough and I caught a chill.....
On the plus side John Hannah (Four Weddings fame) was so dishy in Uncle Vanya

Morning Diary and Dear Ladies
Beanielou - yes that voice - even if it was portraying the depths of misery - Chekhov - it was a small theatre, and although we were on the back row (wheelchair access) it was still very close to the stage
Well after Tuesday the last week has been very much a write off as I was firstly sore from Oesto and brewing the cold, then the cold and then recovering.....
However, ever one to be horizontal. I have managed to do the following
I am still sober ! Day 23rd. Daddy has offered to take us to the pub on Sunday for lunch.... I have a bit of a disgruntled other half....as he has stopped as well :rotfl::rotfl:
I was able to curl up and finish the book club book - Dorothy L Sayers and went to Bookclub (at a friends house). We always ate a pudding and have been using up our stocks of apples but for a change OH made profiteroles which was very :money:as all we needed to buy was the cream.... And they were yummy.
I have watched the first two Harry Potter films yet again :T:p
I've finished all my scanning in the office for the time being - trying to go paper free
I've nearly transferred half of my photos from my iPad to my hard drive so I can update the software ( can only dream and drool over the new iPad air )
Completed a job application - just waiting OH to proof read
completed three more lap blankets for our new project
Rewrote Foodbank article for Parish magazine - editor liked it this time :T:T:T
Planted more daffodils !!!!!!
Finished Mary Berry autobiography.... I've followed her since a child when my mum watched her on Afternoon Plus, her book was both entertaining and thought provoking and as an added bonus recipes
Today I am feeling much me and after 4 days being indoors may even venture out. !As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

This has not been a good week financially as I have had to buy three things to come out of my Mrs B budget
New coat - which is both rainproof and comes to my Knees so that when I am on the scooter I am warm and dry including my bum
Bought this online from seasalt - have to say great service, really good value for the quality so :T:T:T:T
New headphones to use with my voice recognition software - this will be reimbursed by the business when I eventually earn some dosh!
National Portrait Gallery Friends membership - seems a luxury, but I use their membership facilities regularly when I go to the oestopath so I do get value for money.
I am really behind with my 100 day challenge 32/43 :eek::eek:
And I had to borrow from the SPC so I didn't occur charges
New debt total £1485.49
On the positive front. My OH took up the idea of having a new current account just for our groceries/discretionary spends budget. It's been open, cards arrived yesterday, awaiting pins so should be good to go soon after pay day ( tomorrow).
I've hidden the other two cards including my pocket money account. So without them in my purse I can't spend. As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Glad you are feeling perkier BM. At least your spends were for necessities, it's not as if you've frittered money away. You and me both with being behind with the 100 day challenge.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Dear Diary and Friends
Cough Sneeze Cough .... Oh go away lurgy I have so much to do.
Well the Good news is the flood surveyors are here... Measuring up! Hoping to hear when the work is proposing to do.
The daffodils are nearly all in..... Except a small bag of Cornish chuckles and some tulips.... That will be Saturdays job. I actually got up for 8am communion and then we planted the last of the big bag before Daddy took us out for lunch.... And he treated us :T:T:T
We have been looking for a small cafe table for DH study, for me to see clients, I found one on Fleebay on Saturday - the lady accepted £25 cash... So a quick trip to Harrow and we got Cotswold company table and two chairs.... Just perfect... I was so excited... As another step closer to my dream.
Did a quick circuit to see the school just loved the old buildings.
We spotted a Mr W so popped in for supper items and had a coffee ... I was very impressed my first I found to strong so they made me fresh with one shot.... Them clumsy me had taken two mouthfuls and tipped the whole lot over... So embarrassing they cleared it up, made me another and offered DH a second cup. His had been free with a my Mr W card... I need to get one.
Our two maintenance/builders came to do odd jobs - I now have a secure area so a doggy can visit (live!) :rotfl::rotfl:. One gave me a real fright when falling off a ladder... He's in his 50's and it literally took the wind out of him. We also talked new bathrooms a project they have now scheduled in for next year :T:T. It's the last room to do... And is now looking very sad. It's great to have them, as their day rate £150 is so reasonable round here. All I have to do is source the materials .... I'm thinking Art Decco.
My budget blown abit this week... Coffee and supper out with friends but it did do me good to have some girlie times. I did get 20% off our restaurant bill thanks to :money:
I have also finally handed over a Treasurers role that is :T to my stress levels, it was a voluntary thing and there was one committee member who was my nemesis and each email caused me stress.
Think that's it....As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or
