I have quite a lot of loose tea,but prefer teabags.I found that making a cuppa with loose tea wasn't strong enough.I usually make just a cup,as I'm on my own.Solution?Use a smaller cup. :o
I just can't afford to waste anything, now that my salary is going to decrease soon. It's important for me to feel as 'prepared' as possible.

Do you add an extra spoon of tea for the pot? My mum has an old tea caddy spoon (i've already said I want to inherit it :o) and it has stamped into it 'one spoon for each person and one for the pot' :)
I just started learning how to write with my left hand.I've meant to try it for ages, just to see if I can. It's still pretty rocky, but I'm enjoying it.

I write with my left hand....but then I'm naturally a lefty :rotfl: Which came in quite handy (no pun intended) when I 'trimmed' my digit with the hedge trimmer and could still fill in the the form at the hospital
t2rry Earth,Wind and Fire have a song called September?Ok,will check that out.

Since it's my B'day in Sept- I'd like the whole thread dedicated to me please :p hee hee, just kidding. Its the Autumn Solstice on 22nd Sept though - as a thought. x

I hope that the day goes super fast for you,and that you finish on time. :)

Have a fab holiday. :D Are you going away?

Ps just curious, but have you fixed a wedding date?

    Are you declaring #8 already?

Shouldn't declare 8 just yet I don't think - I'll get to the end of the working day first then I'll know (there is a little chance I will be persuaded to celebrate end of today with a little drinky-poo! Unlikely but currently still possible!)

Not going away for hol (very MSE!) so stacking up on ideas for free but lovely things to do with the hubby to be! Wedding 'stuff' to do too. And yes we have a date - 22nd December and I am already counting down the months, weeks, days.....!

Auntie t2rry wow,December's not too far away!

I hope someone treats you to a drink, and you still get your nsd. :)

Has your little nephew got a name?

It's not too far really but it still feels aaaagggessss!!!! Will enjoy week off though, I have never needed a break from work more in my life but inevitably I will be immensely worried about things going wrong in my absence! Sometimes I think I should just go and work in a shop - no stress, just boredom sometimes sounds wonderfully idyllic!

Nephew does have a name, he went 3 days without but is all named and wonderfully beautiful (even though always asleep when we've seen him - guessing that won't last!)

Number 6 NSD safely in the Cauldron of Doom!

Marmite - September = harvest time, Autumn Solstice celebrations....or get your gymslip out for a Back to School theme?

Igor is eagerly anticipating your decision.

  • #4 NSDfor me please today quite impressed with that for a first week, is it cheating to have a little pot with maybe a fiver for dipping into for bus catching etc if weathers really lousy so I don't lose a nsd ??
