Is there anything else people have as allowable that makes sense in this same fashion?????Cheryl0

I allow fresh milk (no control over how fast DS1 will drink it), but not my long-life. Since adding DS1 to my insurance I allow petrol (again because I don't have full control of use). I also allow fresh (not tinned or frozen) fruit and veg as I was stocking up on spend days and then throwing away loads that went rotten. And cooked sandwich meats for the same reason.
Fresh fruit is the only other thing I was thinking of as we have it every day (usually it is all I eat until I get home from work for dinner!)Debt Free I FFEF I Building Savings I 2025 Plan:- Regular Savings £8,200/£10,000

Hello, I had another NSD yesterday, taking me to #6 for the month. No reason why I should need to spend today, I've brought lunch to work and dinner is sorted, so I'll be brave and declare #7 while I'm at it!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0

Yes I am, but many mis-spent hours at secondary school are paying off
When we were kept in at play time 'cos of rain we used to get bored, so a bunch of us decided it would be fun to try writing with our 'wrong' hand. End result is that some 35 years later I can still write legibly with it (even if it is a bit shakey), and I can sign my name (possibly not to the point a financial company would accept it, but doctors are amazed they can read it on consent forms).... and it means the hand-to-eye co-ordination for other tasks isn't too bad either
I just started learning how to write with my left hand.I've meant to try it for ages, just to see if I can. It's still pretty rocky, but I'm enjoying it.
t2rry Here's what I don't count:
-all bills and cc bill (count day of spend)
-going swimming (subscription)
-travel by bus and train (travelcard)
-prescriptions (essential)
-any 'woman's products' needed -another essential
-fresh fruit and veg. This is new, before it was just bananas,as I don't like the ones going brown.Still eat them though.
-also occasionally I'll buy some bottled water. That's allowed.
That might seem like a lot,but it's what works for me.For me,it's mainly about avoiding impulse buys.0 -

Shame I bought more than milk the other day! That's the first time someone has explained the reasoning by having 'allowable' spends that makes sense to me...it stops you buying unnecessary items at the same time...of course!
Oh, and challenge to obtain powdered milk accepted...next online shop!
Sorry,forgot to comment on this,so another post.....:j:j:j;)0 -
Claiming NSD #9 for today and yesterday.
Yesterday I did spend money but it was left for me to take the children I was babysitting/nannying to the local shops so they could get some sweets for being good for me on tuesday.
then today I had another nursery job interview today but I had a lift there and back so I didn't buy any bus fare. After a busy week,
I'm home in bed with my dog - she can sense the thunder
I hope everyone's day have been good despite the horrid rainy stormy weather!NSD 3/25 | SA: £38.00 | EF: 38.130 -
