  • Claiming NSD 5/10 a few hours early to avoid the temptation of going to the corner shop for snacks.
  • Sure marmite,
Sorry I was in a bit of a rush when I posted... busy week for me (hehe) I didn't want to forget any NSD's this month as I fall off the wagon a little if I do.

My current total is up to 7 nsds

I did "spend" £20 in between today & yesterday but it was an allowed spend since they were part of a birthday present for my Nan & Auntie (I've put £10 in each card since I was a little clueless on what to get them both). My bus fare home from baby-sitting was paid for by my mum.

Oh, forgot.........woke up to a parking ticket yesterday  as I had forgotten to put my permit back in the window when I got back from work.............still I have appealed it and am hoping they may let me off for being stupid. Made damn sure it was visible in the car last night when I got in :rotfl:

ugh, my friend got one for not scrubbing the year off a visitors permit when staying at a friends - the choices were 2014 / 2015 / 2016...I mean SERIOUSLY what year did they think she was going to scrub off - some people are such jobsworths

    Hi,
managed NSD #2 today. Did do some juggling of car insurance to get my son insured to drive my car, but he will pay his share and the new deal is cheaper than what I had.

How do I put the information at the end of my posts like you all have?

If you go into 'user cp' at the top of the forum. On the left of the screen it takes you to is a thing that says 'edit signature', click on that and write the details in and then click save xx

    NSD 10 today

Got a new car tyre but spends out of car account all saved up for thankfully. This is the kind of cost that would have stressed me out in the past. Amazing what a difference budgeting can make, with no stress!

    I agree,budgeting rocks! :D

How on earth did I manage before...I do remember always keeping a careful tally of my credit card spends, and keeping that sum of money back.I've always paid off my cc bills in full at the end of the month, which was/is a very good habit to have.I did save every month, but I used to fritter away so much money.Oh well,we live and learn. :money:
